I filled my AGA-T with Guevara today, and although I won't swear to it, I will say that I *think* that this is the base for Ebaron's Cigare de Paris. It has a hint of the almond/marzipan that CdP pours on with gleeful abandon, and has a deeper profile to it than its El Toro brethren like Puros and Cigarillos.

I still like Cigare de Paris better, which is significant since I normally loathe anything overly almondy. Guevara is still a decent medium-weight tobacco, but the rest of the bottle had better seriously WOW me before I'd commit to ordering it again.

Having fun with three GeJ e-liquids this week. Wild Turkey is probably the most divisive of the three. It's a nice, dry tobacco with a good amount of funk and slight sweetness, but I can see some people not liking the funk. Apple Cured, like several people in this thread have noted, is definitely apple first and tobacco second. Both flavors are great and I'm enjoying the blend. GJ4 I've only dripped a bit of, but I like it so far. A very good tobacco comes first, followed by the sweet RY4 flavors. It's strange, but so far this one smells much sweeter than it tastes.

The old notion that taste is upward of 90% smell is frequently shown to not be true for vaping. How many times have we had a juice with no smell and plenty of taste (ex. Guevara Reserve) and how many times have we had a juice with really sweet smell but not so much in the taste (ex. Smooth C., GJ4, White Beard Tobacco). Some of those may change to a strong sweetness in taste after a steep, but if it smells it originally, shouldn't it taste like it? That is, if the old adage is true.

Just got my order delivered from virgin vaper, which includes a bottle of "best damn tobacco". Anyone here tried it? I'm not sure what to think of it and might let it steep for a while...

Do a search in this thread for that. OMG, here we go again. LOL. 'Twas not a pretty site. Why are they still selling that madness?

It's just a bad version of a Tobacco Absolute-only juice.

Whether or not you wrote it intentionally, I LOVE your double-entendre: "'Twas not a pretty site." ROTF.

If you want to find a good TA juice, I'd recommend Tobacco Haze from Mom and Pop Vapor Shop, or maybe Smith Barn Sticks from Moondrop.co.

Look at the actual liquid. Do you see any particles floating in it? (Serious question). When that line of tobaccos came out there was a quality control issue that resulted in the tobacco absolute (yes, it is TA juice and not extracted tobacco) coming out of suspension in brown blobs. VV says they fixed the issue and I have no reason to doubt that, but those of us who ordered this juice early were disappointed. You can see our discussion on this very thread beginning here and continuing for several pages.

With regards to tobacco Haze, I had a look at the description on the the site of mom and pop, and Im not sure what to think about the little sweet (but they won't say what) something added in a "natural" tobacco...

Well i am not new to vaping i am new to the ecf and only recently have i tried tobacco flavors, i figured what the hello is the point if i can vape strawberry and watermelon ... would i want to go put a nasty tobacco flavor in my pipe Lol. Well i gave it a try and ordered old west from diy flavorshack and. Big mistake lol it was the worst tobacco flavor that i have ever tasted! it was like some kind of old half rotten tobacco that my poor old grandpa would smoke out his pipe back in the pioneer days. After that i went a year without even touching a tobacco flavor jug even to smell it. But after coming on to this site i read a lot of review of ry4 and bobas bounty so after much consideration i decided to give ry4 a try. My local b&m has it in stock from diy flavorshac. To my suprize it was quite goo Better flavor and after taste than any cigarette i ever smoked and taste Verry similar to a certain cigar i used to smoke only better. I was sold and it is my go to vape at home now when i am board of all the candy and berry flavors i have. Now if a cheap vendor like diy flavorshack has ry4 that can taste this good i can only imagine what a good top noch vendor has! I think i am going to give in and order 30 ml or more of bobas bounty.

Anyone have a recommendations for a mild tobacco. Or tobacco with hints of honey and nuts. Its got to be fairly mild though i dont want an overpowering tobacco flavor.

TA= Tobacco Absolute. It is a very concentrated resinous form of tobacco extract, normally used to give a woodsy/chypre note to fine fragrances. In E-liquid, it gives an ashy, green, "fuzzy" flavor to the juice when used sparingly. Many people do not use it sparingly enough, and it winds up tasting like a plank of wood. Generally on this thread, TA juices are not considered NETs.

Don't be sorry:)

No need to be sorry at all man!!

TA stands for tobacco absolute. It is an oil taken from tobacco that is extremely potent and has a very distinct flavor. It has a sort of gritty ashy taste to it reminiscent of tobacco but nothing like Naturally extract tobacco flavors. I don't mind it every once in a while but it is by no means a go to juice for me. I do have a big bottle of tobacco haze and a little bit of Moondrop as well. When the mood strikes these do the Job. I would recommend tobacco haze as well if you are looking for a TA juice. It is rather sweet and has a bit of a buttery taste as well. It had a bit of a dessert conponent to it but no one really know what's in it. It's worth a try:)
