Is the Nimbus beginner rba user friendly? I don't even know why the .... I bought the damned thing.

Working with it should be similar to your IGO-L. The posts are totally straightforward and easy to work with. For me, the harder part is making good coils and wicks. My skills are average on my best days and it took me three shots to get the dual-coil setup right.

After finishing my bottle of GeJ Apple Cured, I'm thinking that dual-coil won't be used for my NETs. It just seems kind of wasteful.

Warning: off-topic hardware post, no NET talk, but while typing this I'm finishing off Cigarillos. Just want to share with any friends here about my new toy I'm really excited about. If your not interested, skip the rest of this post.

I picked up the KTS Telescopic Storm since I found a great deal for around $21. Needed a backup mod; since it's mechanical I figure it would get me by if my VAMO broke until I could get a new variable power device. I lost interest in sub-ohm vaping when I found out you NEED high airflow for high watts, and I prefer a tighter draw, so no plans on using a mechanical for that. After a day, I decided this is my main device, the VAMO can be my back-up, and here's why.

When I opened the package I thought something was amiss, the bubble wrapped and bagged contained something obviously too small to be a mod. Turns out, it's all there, mechanicals are just small, compared to my VAMO nightstick anyways. And this thing is stunning. Compared to my chrome tube of a VAMO, this is sleek, gold and chrome device is just pretty to my eyes. Pics really don't due justice for mechanicals I guess. It's so pretty I wanted to show it off as I head out with a group for some work out of town, so I put in an 18650, screwed on an eVod (with adaptor) and was off. This thing in 18650 mode is still smaller than my VAMO in 18350 "shorty" mode. It's only a little taller than my 650 mAh Twist, but with a 2250 mAh (or whatever the Panasonic is) battery. In 18350 mode, this thing is very stealth.

First thing I noticed, my 2 ohm eVod was hitting really nice. All day I noticed this. I thought it was in my head that it was hitting better until I got home and put in a 2 ohm dripper. People told me that going from my Twists to a VAMO I'd experience a better vape. I didn't notice a better vape, just a lot of cool functions I could do. Here, I do notice a better vape. I don't know if it's because it's a straight DC current instead of the modulating current, but it just plain vapes better, noticably. Surprisingly, found out I also really dig a pinky button.

I don't vape heavy out of the home, but for the 2 and a half hour drive, before work, and during breaks I was hitting it pretty hard. At least 4 hours of heavy vaping. What was odd is on the drive home the vape seemed the same, but I was expecting a gradual reduction in power that's noticable with unregulated eGo type batts like the Kgo. Took a reading when I got home, and the Panny was at 4 volts! My VAMO eats up juice much quicker than that.

So now most my vaping will be on a smaller device with much less battery changing, and a better hitting vape. Very exciting for me. I have 11 rebuildable drippers right now, I'll set them up at various ohms when I want to switch up my wattage. Just.. just.. Happy happy happy; Joy joy joy.

So lemme get this straight: you grow orchids, but RBAs give you trouble? Dude! Seriously, I know you can wrap a coil!

I know! It makes me laugh when I think about it. It's usually at the end of a long day that I try to wrap a coil. Guess I should try it with a fresh mind.

Ugh... I can't deal with the beeping. The article wasn't very clear about it; can yo turn off the audio completely? If so, I'm adding it to the list. :facpalm:

Unfortunately, I have no clue - I don't have one. I've just been contemplating it...

Edit: I misunderstood your question... it sounded like you had picked up a Crown and it was beeping at you. Disregard my response :)

For some reason I can't get to Super T's site. I just get 404'd. I signed up for the 'notify me when in stock" at Vixen Vapors. The other sights either don't have/list them or I don't understand what everything is- no translator.

If someone would do me a solid and order one for me from Super T. I'd paypal you even before the purchase is made. I might even make an exception to not blowing glass in the summer and make a nice drip tip for whoever helps.

They are out of stock at SuperT as well.

USPS is up to it's tricks again...

My Ahlusion order, which shipped much earlier that I expected BTW... Is now taking a US tour... Instead of coming directly to Oklahoma, it's taken a side trip out to California. The expected ETA is tomorrow... so USPS may still pull it off but I'll have to wait to see now.

USPS sure is messing up these days..

My MOV order is doing pretty much the same for the last week and half. Shipped from MOV, went to Chattanooga, TN, got misdirected, went back to TN, shipped again, went to Florida and now is processing from there. Here's hoping that it makes it to me this week!

Grrrrrr..

Non issue now. I canceled the order. I already have an IGO L that I haven't even set up, nor have any desire to. I stand by my "F rebuildables" statement.

Sorry guys. that sucks.

Same thing happened with my order from ePipeMods though, it was just the bit covers and some batteries so, it wasn't a big deal if it took a tour of the southland before getting to me.

Civet coffee is actually good! I got a bag of it from my coffee roaster friend.

Wow, I have never heard of civet coffee so I googled it...

Perfect Christmas gift for my boss and in-laws. Possibilty my neighbor who likes to mow his lawn bright and early Saturday morning.

Besides the BGB... the rest of mine is all non-aro's which taste better after a good steep anyway. So I'm not hurting too badly... Dusty on the otherhand already has a wait with a shipment from the States to Canada... so any further delays really has to suck

I know Google is my friend, but I've not been following too closely lately and I'm lazy.
So would somebody tell me... What the heck are NETs?

NET - naturally extracted tobacco. Most of the flavors are being extracted from pipe and cigar tobaccos and a few also are extracted from cigarette tobaccos. Most of us ( but not all by any means ) don't include TA ( tobacco absolute ) or TE ( tobacco extract ) in with the definition but that is technically arguable since those are also extracted direct from tobacco flavors. In short, not artificially created tobacco flavors.

Probably flame bait here, but I have to post. I tried the majority of the A+ aros last night. From several I got the same strange taste that I did from the two I ordered last week. CB, HC, BGB, SC all had it. I didn't get it as much from SGP and Vurley and not at all from DD!. Surprisingly the most approachable and my favorite was DD! which makes little sense based on impressions here. Anyone else notice this chemical taste?

... and you let them steep for how long? .... Most here have stated that the non-aro's need a long steep in order that their flavors develop. I've let my Desperado and Smooth Criminal steep for 3 weeks now, the going recommendation say 4-8 weeks before they start to hit their prime. I'm getting no odd chemical flavors in mine currently, though I do have an odd flavor I don't recall seeing mentioned in SC before so I'm going to re-read the reviews on it... The odd flavor that I wasn't expecting... cinnamon. It's just either me, or I missed reading that before.
