Nope.

I'm waiting for the release of Kanger Subtank and their new vertical coils with organic cotton--I just hope they will come in higher resistances. I have no use for sub-ohm coils. I prefer cotton to fiberglass and Kanger coils will be compatible with other Kanger tanks--unlike Aspire coils. ;)

The question i have is, if you have a rebuildable or rda, why would you want to rebuild on the kanger subtank?

You don't have to rebuild them--Kanger is offering pre-made coils with organic cotton and optional RBA. You have a choice--they make it for you, or you can make it yourself.

So you like having the option to buy either head? It sounded like you are getting the subtank for the sole reason to rebuild the head for it. I mean there is nothing wrong if thats the case. But is this subtank for rebuilders/rda a kayfun etc. killer? Something innovative about it?

I'm not getting a Subtank--at least not yet--I'm waiting for the new coils (higher ohms, though) so I can use them in my other Kanger toppers. I've only seen that announcement, so I know as much as you do. But a commercial RBA is innovative. Kanger must have realized that people like to rebuild their coils so they are offering an RBA. :)

Kayfun killer? :D Nobody has seen the deck yet and nobody tried to rebuild them--I'm sure Phil will do a nice review of the Subtank as soon as gets one.

I heard about those new kanger sub ohm coils for current tanks. I wonder how they did it (small size head). And what possible drawback could result? Maybe less life on them and more replacing needed? I would like to test it out. Will it fit on a t3'D? Only kanger tank i have that is sleeping now

They only have one--0.8Ω. AFAIK, it's the old, dual coil design. The Subtank coils are completely redesigned--bottom plane dual coil-- BPDC). Check the announcement I linked earlier--they will only fit larger tanks. If you want to discuss the Subtank, go here:

And now--my apologies to the OP for hijacking the thread....

Sorry.

Please carry on. The topic is Aspire Atlantis. :)

ETA: Oh, Rondo, just noticed that you're the OP...

The only part I'm disappointed with is that the new tank is only 2ml. Really hoping for a 5ml or larger option in the future but I'm really surprised they didn't go bigger for the launch. That said I have 2 of them on pre-order. I like the idea of sub-ohming but I don't have the time or patience to deal with building coils and maintaining it. The BVC and the Nautilus are the perfect combo for me now, it's very consistent with few issues and little hassle. If the Atlantis can do the same, I'm sold. I'm looking forward to trying Kanger's offering too when they release it.

For my pre-orders, I have one with coils coming from Kidney Puncher and one from DashVapes since I'll get it faster from them.

This is a head scratcher for sure 2ml at sub ohm will be gone in 15 minutes... almost gives it the same inconvenience as dripping. For a company that does so many things right this really shocked me that this is only 2ml....then I realized they are smarter then I think and a mega version 6ml capacity release is right around the corner and they will double their profits

Yes slightly different sizes and the CF Mod takes an 18650 Battery :) whereas the CF Sub has the battery built in !

I like the idea of the 18650 much better once the built in battery stops holding a charge u can throw it in the trash

Oh i see. These might not sell too great then. When alot of ppl will want to vape at 30 plus watts

I bought one anyway based on the fact that aspire has earned my trust and I think they produce quality products with vapors in mind and it looks pretty cool im a big fan of the carbon fiber looks.

That CF Mod is looking good, built in short circuit protection in a "mech" mod for $35......

Currently i can't get that protection much below .6 ohms in mechs w/safety fuses that have 7 amp limits. So can't "safely" use Aspire's .5 ohm coils in my current mechs. And only have 1 regulated device that has enough power to comfortably run that coil. Not sure i want to run a 30 watt mod at 30 watts all the time

So yeah, will be buying the Aspire CF Mod w/built in short protection regardless of whether i get the 2ml Atlantis or wait for a larger capacity version. Am happy running 1.6 ohm BVCs in Nautilus & Silo tanks on mech mods w/kick2's in them at 10-11 watts (Edit- can go thru 100ml+ on 1 coil that way, but prefer to swap coils after 75ml or so), but only during middle of day when i can drink enough water to balance out the dehydration from 50-70% PG, so it would be nice to be able to use high VG juice w/a pre-built coil & tank like Atlantis, for when i just dont have the time or energy to deal with RTAs & dont feel like using a dripper.
