I bought one anyway based on the fact that aspire has earned my trust and I think they produce quality products with vapors in mind and it looks pretty cool im a big fan of the carbon fiber looks.

Well, my Atlantis, CF MOD battery, and extra coils should be shipping out on Monday!!

Talking to Aspire, the only differences between the MOD and the Sub OHM is the capacity of the battery, and one is replaceable. Personally, I like the idea of sacrificing a little capacity for replace ability.

Where did you order from?

To answer the original question, I believe the mini BVC and the sub ohm complement each other very well. I've had the Atlantis for two days now and while I love it it isn't that great for mouth to lung hits which I do a lot of the time (I switch depending on my mood and juice). Also I'm not allowed to vape at work (I still do :) ) so I need smaller clouds for then.

I just got the Atlantis and for people who are not used to direct "lung" hits, you might like it, you might dislike it.

For high quality eliquids, doing direct lung hits brings out some serious flavors. I couldn't get all parts of the flavors using the Nautilus mini. It is bold and you get a subtle but lasting aftertaste. Again best to do this with a quality eliquid

If you like tobacco flavors or are just not into lung hits, you will need to set it on the 1st or 2nd smallest aireholes. I personally don't like the smallest one bc the flavor is too concentrated for my liking. And will need to change the massive drip tip to a very small drip tip (smaller than nautilus mini). Like from the mini protank kind of drip tip.

Then you can get sort of a "mouth to lung hit" (though still more directly to the lung) . The kind of hit you are used to with the Nautilus Mini Bvc, but better and easier pull.

So with some minor tweaks (changing drip tip, airhole) , it is a versatile tank. Either way, the pull is mad easy, smooth , nice to bold flavor, very good to extreme vapor production capability. I definitely recommend it

yes or no?

Are you disappointed that Aspire has not come out with another BVC coil (Sub Ohm levels) option for the Nautilus and the Mini version?

I'm surprised as to how fast new gadgets keep trying to trump each other in the ecig business.

nope! my mini gives me the hit i need and then some. i see no need to increase juice use, i'm trying to quit ;-)

I just got my Atlantis in last night. I'm a dripper through and through but wanted an on the go piece that would at least resemble my drippers. I have to say I'm very pleased with it. I like the big air flow and the ability to control it. It's easy to wick fast as you can drip some juice right in the cotton surrounding the coil prior to filling. It is very high quality and the airflow control is the best I have seen. I think juice flow control is pointless but it's there.

It had a bit of an odd taste at first which is common with cotton, it has since gone away. Compared to my drippers flavor is a tad muted, vapor production is the same and convenience is way better. I think it's worth sacrificing a little flavor for convenience but will always have drippers around.

I can't compare to the mini but I like the Atlantis.

Received my Atlantis yesterday and quickly blasted through a full tank. I am not a lung hitter, so getting used to that will take some time. Wow the flavor is crazy intense with it. I was using ANML Carnage, and the taste was so much fuller than the normal carto tanks I use. The sweetness almost got overpowering. But the rich flavor combined with the huge vapor production make sit a really fun and satisfying vape. The juice goes FAST, and I'm not sure how long the coils will last, but I have to say I am loving it so far!

aspire nautilus or mini
the flavor is 65/100
the vapor is 80/100
you can probably last an whole day with the bigger nautilus

aspire atlantis
the flavor is 75/100
the vapor is 95/100
you will probably blow through 2-4 refills a day if you chain vape, 3 18650 batteries barely last me a day if i chain vape

you desire decent vapor, decent flavor, decent battery usage, stick with the nautilus or mini
you desire excellent vapor, better flavor, very high battery usage OR you desire subohming while driving, go with the atlantis

Just got my Atlantis and i love it!! Found my Mini Nautilus just wasn't giving me what i wanted i.e., taste and clouds. So when Aspire had their xmas sale (50% off) i got the Atlantis, the red carbon battery, 2 base hardwares for the Nautilus and a nice hollowed out sleeve tank for the Atlantis all for $70.00 including shipping! :)

It is truly hard to go back to the nautilus for me, and I really like that tank. The nautilus has been the most reliable tank I have ever owned as far as flavor, vapor and overall performance.

That being said... the Atlantis just made the nautilus look like its little baby brother. I have found that even on the smaller holes with a smaller drip tip the vape I get from the Atlantis is amazing. Full bore, wide open lung hits are nothing short of a miracle.

The CF SUB battery is great, I am getting the SUB MOD just because I have so many 18650 batteries laying around.

I still have the nautilus for indoor/office/driving, but I think that once I finish up all my 12mg juice it wont get much use.

No its not a dripper... but I do prefer it over my kayfun. Its not as good as my LEMO drop, but I like the plug and play, grab and go features... they make rebuilding seem less attractive to me.
