I'm trying to understand.
She has a simple system that works for her, but since technology has changed, she should upgrade and/or take up sub-ohm vaping?
in my opinion every vaper should at least know how to replace a pre-made coil in their tank setup. I'm not saying they should go out and learn ohm's law and learn about voltage drops and contact points, etc..
So what? I can do all those things........but prefer not to. I love my simple setup with single coil over the counter evods and ego type stuff.
Unless there are specific things "Mom" is unhappy with, I see no reason to run out and spend money just because, esp. if she is enjoying what she is using now.
iStick is not good at really low watts.
The istick is not at all tolerant of any kind of single coil or lower voltage vaping. I guess she could use it with her protank 3 if she would prefer a "box mod" over a stick batt?
Keep in mind a more advanced setup will also probably consume way more ejuice than she is probably using now, and the consumables are more expensive, as are the actual delivery devices themselves.
Kangertech e-smart BCC kit
She'll be on the charger every 2 hours of the day with the esmart. ....that, and re-filling up tiny clearomizers.
Can you tell us exactly WHAT part of "more" that Mom is looking for? I could understand more battery life, etc.
