No, this is not a joke; please be kind. I have a mentally disabled cousin who smokes, and she wants an e cig. Is she serious about quitting or just wants a cool, electronic gadget? Possibly more the latter, but her parents and I are hoping she'll quit.

It needs to be as easy to use as possible, but must get her through a day at work. Her mom and dad work full time as well and are likely going to be responsible for cleaning and refilling. My cousin is also insisting it be small.

I looked at cigalikes and the eroll, but constantly charging batteries and needing to refill liquid seems like its going to be too much. Her hand/eye coordination isn't very good.

Right now I'm thinking eGo 650s paired with original evods. She definitely doesnt like my Vision Spinners and says they are too big. I havent let her see my Reo as obviously she shouldnt have a mech. I explained to her mom how to clean the coils.

I'm open to other suggestions. I live two hours from them so I can only help over the phone.

i like your idea about the EVODS etc. you would want as much safety built in as possible. you are also going to have to educate as many responsible people that are around her on a day to day basis on the potential hazards associated with e-cigs . i am very proud that you would take on a task like this. best of luck.

TO keep it as simple as possible I suggest something like a V4L Titan with their pre-filled carts to start.

She can always upgrade to tanks or someone can refill blank carts for her. I know there are other companies that probably have a similar set up.

I will look this up. But batteries that need charged every 30-60 minutes will be a problem I think. She might forget or get fed up.

+1 V4L is a solid company. Here's a link to the Titan starter kit:

Vapor Titan Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit | Ecig | Ecigarette | Starter Kits | by V4L

The auto-fire of a ciga-like will help. You can get them up to 400mAh. Also, she just might like the "gadgety" glowing tips, lol.

Cheers

Ok the V4L could work if she's willing to go with some XL batteries. Definitely one to consider.

When I was first investigating what else was out there that might be better than the Blu starter kit I picked up at a Walgreens, V4L was one that came up on google. I remember calling them, and they had excellent customer service and answered all of my questions (I knew absolutely nothing). I didn't end up purchasing anything because the next day I discovered there were things other than "ciga-likes", and one thing led to another...

But yeah, have her parents call them and they will be super helpful I'm sure. +1 847 944 8200

It's too bad the size thing is a factor, because something like a Vapor Zeus with a smilomizer would really be hassle free all things considered (it also has an auto version). But that thing is pretty damn big.

Cheers

I agree with the Ego 650's (or the 400 size, if she doesn't smoke too much). I would go for the T3S's or T3S mini's, though, so she can see the level of liquid easier. The mini holds about the same amount of liquid as the Evod.

Just an FYI....T3S heads can be used in Evods but Evod heads can't be used in T3S's.

First of all, I think it is wonderful that you are helping her and I hope ya'll find something that works. I think it depends on how much she smokes. I was a heavy smoker and it didn't take me long to get tired of charging batteries. The mvp2 is a box mod but it is so easy to use. Dependable and relatively inexpensive. It has a fantastic battery life and I use to really enjoy it a lot. Please let us know how it is going and what helped because I would like to be able to help others. Good luck to you.

Alot depends on her level of disability. If she will be able to take off the atty to clear if it floods then ego evod would probably be good. It sounds like her parents are on board with this so get them involved in the selection process. Maybe a road trip to a bm would be the best idea. Sure you'll probably spend a few more buck than on line but could save you from multiple purchases. If her parents smoke maybe youl get the 3 point conversion!

She is a PAD smoker. Her parents quit smoking 11 years ago.

I have an MVP also and she doesn't like that either, lol! It doesn't help that my mom went nuts on my e cigs looking like other stuff devices. My cousin thinks my mother is a goddess.

I thought of going to a B&M, but I know mine doesn't have much selection, especially no easy stuff for beginners. I was worried they might accidentally walk out with a mech with a subohm build.

It is true she might have flooding issues. Would top coil clearos be better?
