I had a bear of a time finding coils for the crown 1. FT doesn’t have them anymore either

I agree but I’m thinking he may do well by going to a vape shop because he will get hands on advice on how to use the thing. Downside of this means he buys what they’ve got which will probably be SMOK (sadly. Smok is one of the worst ecig brands for reasons not worth discussing atm). It’s kind of a coin toss. If the vape shop has decent stuff it will be a win even at higher prices. The problem is they might not. It’s a tough choice.
Maybe read this thread and see if it sounds like what would work for you. Everybody’s likes are different in what works for them

Y’all don’t happen to have a multimeter with bell test lying around do you? Since there’s only one carto it muggy be worth doing a continuity test on the coil to see if it is still even alive
Where are you located, if near me I'll give you a tank, will be much easier. I've got 4 or 5 similar in the back up box and coils and cartos to fit.

Those iclears were my go to tanks back then. The coil cartriges look just like cartos but there are 2 coils at the top and the inside of the metal is full of wicks. Innokin produced those between the original iclear with free wicks that you could see in the tank and the bottom coils like in the iclear x.I found coils for it but those tanks aren't worth the trouble. So many better options out there.
