Need Help w/ New Mod

Pretty new vaper here. Traded out my Kangertech single battery setup for an inexpensive 3-battery monster. This one: Wismec RX200

Will my current tank work with this mod?

I currently have a Melo 2 tank.

Also, should I invest in TC coils? I have noticed my cotton burns even in the Kanger. Perhaps my chain vaping is causing high temperatures? Any direction would be greatly appreciated .

I dont see why your melo 2 wouldn't be compatible with the mod. I dont think TC coils will help you much. They may help you save battery though. Your problem is with wicking. I would suggest bigger diameter coils and higher PG content juices. You need to get the wicking speed up to keep up with ur chain vaping. You might want to look in to a tank with better juice flow or juice control, and if possible lower your watts so you dont burn off juice as quickly.

I currently use .3 ohm coils with a wattage range of 30-80w. Currently vaping in the 40-44w range. Juices are 50/50. What do you think?

Should work fine, all my tops fit on all my mods, even mechs (Except the Noisy Cricket (faux hybrid))

If you are chain vaping, close the air holes and give the drip tip a hard pull. You should see it wick up, or bubbles. Otherwise as Mega said, lower the wattage. I vape 90/10 juice, but usually in the 16-35 range, custom RBA coils. It can dry burn/nasty taste on me occasionally. If I want some power hits, I used the Mutation dripper. You can run the full 200 watts on that if your coils are set for it. They don't cost much either.

@AVapeNoob That sounds pretty good. you pretty much at the minimum watts to produce enough power for .3 ohm coils. 50/50 is fine for any tank. Which only leaves making the diameter in your coil bigger and getting a different tank. What tank are your rocking? Some tanks just dont wick that well or have the room for bigger coils.

90VG is probably vaping 90vg/10pg, which is some thick damn juice. Yes, pulling harder and faster will help wicking speed up. But closing the adjustable air flow doesnt really do much because the Airflow hole size directly under the coil will never change.

@MegaVaper Close the bottom airflow, don't fire the button, and pull hard. It'll suck juice into the chamber. Then open airflow and vape. I do it all the time when I'm a little over wattage for my setup.

Simple approach, by closing the airflow, your pull is lowering the air pressure in the chamber. Since the chamber is connected to the juice tank through the wick, it pulls in some juice and bubbles come up. Vape on.

Yeah, and I am vaping 90VG/10PG.

It's easier if you have 1 or 2 air holes, plug with fingers, suck. I have to close it on my TFV4, 4 air holes. I do the finger thing on my subtank mini when I'm out hiking. I'll lightly puff it while going along, but when I stop for lunch I want to chain vape for a few mins. That was the best atomizer I've ever got for outside. No drip tip, bell cap. Acrylic. Can drop it on the rocks no problem. You can even clean out the dirt/sand without emptying the tank. I usually carry a 10ml bottle of juice if I run out. Drip on tongue, suck on dead vape. Haha.
