I need an 18650 mod that is dependable, durable, not bulky. Regular, Feeder or possibly VV.

I have the following mods:

Roughstack-replaced switch twice in 2 months, good hit but can't use bigger tanks.

Vmod XL- Loved it!! Gave it to my father because he wanted to quit smoking, WIN, ordered two more, on back order and they have passed there delivery time, no heads up to me personally about the delay, I had to search for the info, cancelled the order this morning!!, also no replacement parts if needed for users. LOVE the bottom feed!

Vmod-got of of classies- leaky and proprietary replacements, hate the life of 14500's

Grip feeder-Beautiful feeder mod, orginally purchased for my father, he couldn't handle it and too big for me, but vapes like a champ.

Bolt-Vapes great holds tanks, but I feel may not be durable and the finish is blah, but at the price I could take care of that with my airbrush...

Saber Touch- beautiful finish and overall well made, but I am not into finger lickin good mods! This mod has pushed me to the point of ready to chuck it all in and go back to analogs.

Right now I am looking into Reo Grand and an Omega, as I want a GOOD tube mod and a nice feeder, will these do it? As a side note I am also considering a Provari.

The omega is nice (I really like the switch). Another tank-friendly tube mod to think about is the megalodon from electronicstix. The new top design is friendly to carto tanks, ego attys/cartos, and pretty much everything. It's very versatile and can either be used as the whole unit with 18650 sized batts or can be used in mini-don mode with an 18350.

You can't go wrong with a REO. I really like mine and have been using it more than just about anything else lately. The other metal feeder to think about is the VVPV from notcigs. It is a metal VV top feeder about the size of a deck of playing cards. It takes a pair of 14500s - beta testers reported about 15 hours of vape time for heavy vapers.

Have you checked out the REO Grands

Very durable and reliable.

There is a few in stock right now. Customer support is excellent as well.

Worth a look IMO.

He is developing a VV REO Grand as well and will be out in the next month or so if all works out right.

I am seriously considering the Reo Grande at this point, I have seen very few disastisfied people with it. I have read where he may have the VV soon, so that is interesting as well, I also noticed he has continuously worked to improved the Reo as well. I keep looking for total failures on and so far only see one. I do understand things happen...

I have been using REO's mods for almost two years and have had a lot of other mods along the way. But the REO is my Go to. Lots of info on the REO forum and good people to help with any questions.

IMO bet mod for the $ there die hard mods that just keep on working.

The VV REO's are due out over the next 3 month's. The VV Woodvil will be first and Rob is working on the Plans for the VV Grand right now. He is a bit of a perfectionist and will not release a mod before its time.

Here is the link to the REO forum drop in ask questions. Good bunch of people. You can always PM Rob as well he dose check in every day.

Man the number of mods out there is amazing, I think this time I am only going with people who have lots of units out there already, sure you are not going to please everyone, but it will give you a good idea if there are problems and what to expect. The Don sure has alot out there it seems. I am so undecided on the tube mod, it's a tough call, I think I am gonna try a mechanical one tho, since I already have a electronic button with the Bolt. and Roughstack.
