Ok, both my wife and I both have been smoker for about 10 years now. We managed to quit a few time, for about year each time, but have always came back. A few months ago i was at a store and saw they had an E-cig called Metro. I jumped in and bought a kit. I was pretty pleased with it and we were smoke free for about 3 weeks. We ran into a stressful situation while trying to help a friend and went back to Reg cigs.

Well I really want to give it another shot because i feel it will work for us! I have been doing a lot of lurking on these forums and feel I want to get a setup where i can fill my own carts with e-liquid. So what I would like to find is maybe a kit, if not it’s ok, with stuff for 2 setups. She’s a stay at home mom and I am in front of a computer all day so I don’t need extra batteries. I would like to stay around 100 if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you looking for something that looks like a cigarette or do you want something bigger?

My personal opinion is that it is easier to switch using something that looks like a cigarette. If you think you can handle something bigger, like the size of a cigar, check out the kgo. If you want something smaller like a cigarette, look at the Smokeless image volt. Both are 3.7v with the difference being how long the battery lasts between charges.

Smokeless image batteries last 2-4 hours. The cartos last a long time, can be refilled several times and don't burn easily. They have a customer service that is second to none and are reasonably priced. You can get a teo battery starter kit for $45 and there is a 15% off coupon. So with the coupon, you can get two starter kits for about $76, shipping included. Then they have a promo in their subforum which will give you a free battery, bottle of juice or pack of cartos just or posting a pic of yourself. They also have the X2 battery which is the same as the kgo. When you are ready for a bigger battery, you can simply add on the X2 and still use all your cartos and small batteries. Here is a video which shows both setups and the size of the kgo. This way you can get an idea of the difference.

Hello and welcome I would have to say EGO as well but maybe the EGO passthrough..while on computer you will not use the battery power but when you go out it will always be charged...?? just a suggestion..and you should be able to come in with that price..maybe cartomizers or a clearomizer tank or something along those lines...are many suppliers here that will have what you are looking for..just a suggestion little shop of vapors ... where vapers choose to shop ! Annmarie would help you and she will not sell you something you don't need..give her a holler and keep vaping......Joe

My Husband and I started vaping back in 2010. We did that for about 9 months then we decided to go for analogs again. At the time we were getting really comfortable with vaping using the MKII Screwdriver and a EGO as our main devices. Now we are back vaping again since the 4th of July. we are now very happy with the EGO-C Passthrough Batteries. For around 25 bucks you can get a EGO-C Passthrough, 1000mah will last you all day long and you always have the Passthrough when you need it. Well worth it! I have to echo MrOutlaw's advice and say go for the Smokeless Image Volt. I'd go with two Volt X2's, a couple of packs of XL cartomizers or CE3 cartomizers, and two liquids in strength and flavor of choice. I think I'd also toss in one sampler pack, maybe the "Smooth" which has a sampling of SI's most favored flavors. Then, once you have your X2's in hand, have your wife sign up on ECF as well, and get her 5 posts in, and then head over to the Smokeless Image sub forum and each post your mugshots in the Faces of Volt thread with your X2 with the Volt logo or an SI product box or business card visible, and you can each get a free 78mm battery for back up, and buy a $7 Volt USB charger for the 78's. Overall, you'll still be under $120 and have a good kit with multiple batteries (need something while your two X2's charge now and again), liquids, all the necessities for the both of you to get well started. Since you're looking to keep it simple, this is the route I'd take, and worry about "upgrading" to variable voltage and more fancy mods later, if that is where you eventually decide to go.

Welcome back.

For two people I'd also recommend 3 ego twists. (Get at least one for you both to try out!)
They are a nice and inexpensive way to get into variable voltage. It will allow you to increase or decrease the amount of vapour, flavour, heat and throat hit electronically, to a degree.

I'd also suggest the V2 rebuildable "Stardusts" ( CE4+ REBULDABLE)
Grab a couple for 5-6 bucks each and also a couple 2.8ohm replacement heads
for about 2 bucks each.

If you clean and dryburn the heads(wick and coil) every day or two like I do
you'll be able to get at least 3-4 weeks out of one, depending on the juices you use.
After a little practice it takes only 5min. or so to do.

Small juice "samplers" of varying flavours is the best way to start out to find
a flavour you really like. 5-10 mil. samplers go for between 5 -10 bucks each.

All the best to the two of you and Happy Vaping!!:vapor::vapor:

If the vendor is not based in the USA, then PayPal is possible.

For us, PayPal has a ban on e-cigs and is fairly famous for closing/freezing accounts of those who use them for such transactions.

Huh...did not know that. Thanks for the info. Also, why is that?

Ahh never mind, i did a quick search and found why.

Why? I did no know that.
I used PayPal on .......... (based in China), and purchased other stuff in MadVapes store in Charlotte.
I'm planning to make some orders on MadVapes.com using Paypal. What is the deal with US orders via PayPal?

Never mind on this one. I got it. :?:

Any advice on how to clean eGo Vision (Stardust)?

Added:
I used China's e-cig's E9 starter kit. It was so bad I almost switched back to analogs.
Then I got 510 eGo CE4 kit from China, bad quality.
Then I purchased 510 eGo Vision Tank kit here in US, and it was the best thing I have ever done for myself.

Ok so, I should finally have the money from Paypal in my bank tomorrow. I have decided to go with a Ego twist kit for me and my wife. I have asthma and had some issues when i first tried a store brand e-cig. Doing some research I have found most people with asthma do better with high or straight VG, or that's what i have seen. I'm going to get both high or straight VG and PG, just to test for myself.

So the question now it, what works best with high or straight VG. I know tanks do not work so well, again from what i have read. I have heard good things about PHOENiX™ Bottom Coil Cartomizers. Anyone know how that would work with VG juice?

BTW i love this forum, very friendly and helpful people!

I use 100% vg or mostly vg in cartomizers. Not with a tank.
I have no problem with wicking but I am not a chain vaper. I guess that gives the carto filler time to soak before I take the next toke.
My cartos are Boge & Smoketeck. I have not received any bad cartos. I do the first fill with syringe. I try to leave the first-filled carto sit overnight. After that I just vape & drip a few drops now & then. Never allow the carto to get dry.
Works for me.
Happy vaping on your new Twist.
