My Samurai Bonsai and Mini Haze came in today. Can't wait til I get a chance to try them out. Got a few new juices to try as well. Work can't end fast enough.

Hey when you open it, let me know if youve got an idea of what gauge that wire is they made the coils in the Bonsai is.. From the math Ive done Im guessing it has to be like 24 gauge but Im hoping someone that has one can chime in and let me know. This thing is killing juice like no tomorrow but man, after this I dont wanna go back to my old 29 gauge wire haha. Gonna order a new spool of Kanthal but it starts getting up there price wise once you go above 29 and I dont wanna order the wrong one (currently jobless at the moment since I just moved so ya know that $10 could easily be a second Bonsai or some beer hahaha)..

I'd guess its 24ga 3mm ID. I'm enjoying the Mini Haze more but the Bonsai is good as well. I have to say that im really enjoying this mini atty trend thats going on. Flavor for days and you can get pretty decent vapor production as well.

the freakshow mini is amazing for flavor and cheap. the zorro from tobecco looks pretty promising for a cheaper rda too. bonsai looks really cool as does the haze mini. and bambino if you can find it. and yes i would buy a vertex jr in a second lol
I think the Vertex Jr. should be out in a few weeks. Looking forward to it myself.

Yup, it's real. Check out the Facebook page for The Boss Mod. When I saw the post a few weeks ago, I messaged them about ordering one but the shipping was ridiculous ($59.00). They told me that US vendors should have the Vertex Jr. in about a month, though.

I just checked the Facebook post again and saw it was made on April 29th so I'd imagine we should see them popping up in the US pretty soon. The price I was given for the atty was $65.

I think its 2mm actually.. I ran some numbers through Steam Engine to try and figure out the gauge and everything the other day and a 3mm 24ga coil that hits .5 would only be 5 wraps. I like this bigger wire cause I can finally see and count the wraps in there hehe.. I ended up ordering a spool of 26 gauge the other day to kinda split the difference.. Im loving the vape on the Bonsai but man at this resistance at 15 watts its pulling around 6amps and I killed a freshly charged HE4 in like 8 hours yesterday. Threw it in yesterday afternoon and by like 10pm at night the meter on my Sigelei Mini was already empty.. My 25rs are lasting a little longer but those will be dead in less than 24 hours.. Figure with 26 gauge, I can do a 2mm 9 wrap coil and hit 1 ohm which cuts down almost 2 amps off the draw. Wont be doing my usual 1.5 ohm coils with it though I think that needs like 14 wraps or something and I dont even know if that will fit in there haha.

I believe he said they'll be in retailers hands by beginning to mid June. I put him in contact with a local store so that they would stock them. Really looking forward to it! Looks to be the smallest of the new short RDAs yet.

I've totally changed my tune. The Mini Haze is solid but for me the Bonsai blows it away. I'm starting to prefer the Bonsai to my Derringers as well. Still looking forward to the Vertex Jr.

You know I wanted to try the Mini Haze next after Sonicbomb pointed it out in the same thread I learned about the Bonsai but you and I seem to be pretty much on the same page with the Bonsai hehe. I still dont get what it is about the Bonsai that puts it above my Derringer. Theyre both practically the same exact thing other than the very slightly smaller chamber on the Derringer (the Angelcigs Bonsai is like 2mm taller than an authentic one) and the fact that the airflow on the Derringer is 3 small holes versus the single slit on the Bonsai. I even put the exact same build/wicking and drip tips on both and they both rock but the Bonsai still edges it out every time. Ill keep an eye out for your review of the Vertex now. Guess Ill skip the Haze and probably end up with a couple more of the Samurais in the meantime.
