so who else makes a horizontal 808? (besides the cone echo that hansgen makes) I've only seen other brands for a 510

P.s.- there is never a time where the condom method is the best way to fill a carto. It wastes juice, is messy, dangerous to batts, and to chargers....

lol!!!! Superior was definitely a regrettable choice of words.
It did me right for the first time....just enough to saturate the coil and wick around it before filling as normal. Now that I have a supply and can wait I do use the recommended syringe method and leave em alone before putting them to my gready, gready lips.
btw: It's still not the worst juice wasting thing that was recommended here....to bad you weren't there for those

Charlz sir believe it or not have seen many of those other methods. They all died quickly hence they're not spoken of. The condom fill method is the one that never seems to go away...
No, always blank, no mater what brand I buy, always blank. I fill myself.
I think really, it's just the kanger. Never had that happen on any other (of course, that may just be that I was lucky with the other ones I got. Dunno)
I AM looking for unwrapped. I love volt, but those wrappers ...ugh..bad words...
well all of this certainly answers some of my questions. Tanks will be my next venture. Maybe not so much questions answered as a little more prepared what to look for to optimize my first experience. I have seen pre-punched 808s some where but not horizontals. Do you find the horizontals work better in tanks as well?
Charlz sir have yet to have any kr808 carto in a tank not leak, doesn't matter if it's vertical or horizontal coiled.
That makes sense. Would be interested to see if Pricessdee has found a reliable method. I just figured the 808 tank market was smaller and that made them harder to find. Now I see there may be a reason the market is smaller. Thanks

I have some homemade syringe tanks, some I made with tubing and gaskets I bought online from McMasters Carr, and some smoketech ones.
So far, I haven't had a leak.
Now that's not saying Morandir is wring, that's just MY experience.
I use one hole in the carto and make it bigger than most of the ones I've seen. I saw a video of BiancaMontgomery (excuse spelling) using a drywall screw to punch it. That's about the size of my hole.
I did lose about half a tank of liquid once when I refilled a smoketech by taking off the lid instead of pulling out the carto partway. I guess pressure equalizing or something. Since then, I've not had a problem.
Except finding good, unwrapped Cartos. Which leads me back to post #1. <sigh>

The Eastmall ones I can just rub it off, there's not much and it rubs off easily. The volt, I gave up trying to get them off.

I now have some volts. Seems the sticker came off quite easy. Are you taking about the residue left behind?

I put toothpicks in the holes and ran hot water over, nothing helped.
I'm glad yours came off easily, but for me it was a struggle, and since I have to do a lot of them, it's a pain.
Hubby has one main flavor he uses all the time, so not so bad. Sometimes he'll use another one for a couple hours, but I switch several times a day. All my favorites are in tanks.

The Kr808D-1 LR and HR cartomizers at Vapors, Etc. for $7.45/5 (not the Boges) are very similar to the Volts and Bloogs.

Gosh, how did I miss the stainless part of this discussion. ...pardon. I've emailed Vapors, Etc. in attempt to ascertain if the cartos are horizontal coil.

As far as the difference between horz and vert coil in a tank, I dunno, I just like the flavor way better on a hortz coil. I don't know anything about the mechanics or how they're made. Hortz just taste better to me. Kinda "cleaner". It's hard to explain.
