From time to time I will feel that maybe it's time to branch out and try out some of these juices that are all the rage. I went and spent $40 bucks on 2 juices from one of the top juice vendors there is. And I just don't like what I get. Maybe everyone else likes the floral/perfume tasting juices, but I can't stand it. The thing is people talk about all these flavors they taste in these juices and I don't taste anything but what I've mentioned above. Maybe it's the vg I don't like, but I love midnight express, so I don't think it's that. Oh well, another 40 bucks down the drain.

Never say never. There are a lot of great flavors out there. You just haven't found any that you like so far. Taste is subjective... what taste good to some, others don't like. You love midnight express, I hate it. Don't like anything about it, however I do like most of the Niquid line that I've tried so far. RY4 is my #1 flavor but I still have other favorites that I get from other vendors. Experimenting is half the fun in my vaping journey. If I try a new flavor, I get sample size. I'm not throwing any away that I don't like right now because in a month or two, I may have developed a taste for it... even midnight express.

I'm not a 555 fan. It smells like buttered popcorn to me. It tastes ok and not my favorite by any means, but it is the one juice that I think I can smell on my clothes after vaping it for awhile. Not sure if that can really happen, but I can smell something!

I'd put those bottles away for now. You might find something you can mix with it to make it taste better, or like Joann and nightfell said, your taste buds might just like them in a month or so.

Well, maybe that's just how well I hid them.

For me, cheesecake takes at least 3-4 weeks. With some even more complex flavors (like German chocolate cake), it can take a lot longer. But once it steeps, BAM just like the real thing! To some, these flavors are good without steeping, but sometimes they can get so much better!

ya know.. this isn't why I went with so many flavors from so many different vendors but ya know.. that's the story I'm gonna tell. I gottem so I could let them steep for a LONG time while vaping them and testing as I go. Fill something once a month or so from each of my lots of bottles (exceptions exist) so I can see how they progress.

Cheese cake.. shoulda waited.. vaped it all

I have tried other juices and some of them were good but a lot of them certainly weren't worth spending extra money on. I like one called poison and another called cigrawr but honestly, I love the SI juices and while Desert Joe wasn't my favorite it was vapable. Mt Baker Vapor's Ry4 was too vanilla tasting. SI gets the Ry4 just right. And the SI juices are a pretty darn good price.

Since I now DIY i think I will get a few of the Nicquid or a bottle or two of the SI 555 or Freedom as a treat once in awhile.

I vaped every one of those duds I bought by steeping or mixing them with somting else. Like the Ry4 from Mt Baker Vapor with my SI Ry4. I paid for those juices and unless it tastes like dog poop, I'm vaping them.

I really like some of SI's flavors and am eagerly waiting for them to restock the higher nic Country Cowboy.

There is a brick-n-mortar store reasonably close to me that have a couple of flavors I like. Oddly enough, everybody says that my favorite from that store smells fantastic, but gives me very bad breath. Anybody else have that result with a flavor?

During the holidays, I clicked on one of the banner ads on this site that provided 50% off all juices. What a great opportunity to test some new flavors! However, I only like 1 out of the six I bought. I tried the hot water treatment to see if I could accelerate the steeping, but it didn't seem to do much for the other flavors. As Dac311 said, floral/perfume tasting. One of them comes close to hitting my gag reflex. I'll keep them around, steeping as advised in this and other threads, just in case.

I haven't noticed the PG/VG ratios on any juices I buy. Guess I'll start paying closer attention to that.

I'm of the same mind. In 3 yrs of vaping, I can only remember one 5ml bottle of juice that I finally threw out. I just couldn't force myself to vape it no matter what I did to it to try to make it better.

I am making my own juice now, but I will still buy an occasional juice that I find to be excellent. What used to really bug me is liking a 5ml sample, then ordering 30ml of it to discover it didn't taste the same. So even when you find something you like, there's no guarantee the next bottle you buy is going to taste the same. I will admit the problem isn't always with the vendor, though. Sometimes our tastebuds just change from month to month.

If you limit yourself to just one juice vendor, and if you don't experiment with new juices, you're cheating yourself out of one of the very best things about vaping, imho. Some of the best vapemail is when you've got a batch of new flavors coming in! As noted by others - order smaller sizes first.

We think alike about this. I'm currently waiting for two eliquid orders. One package from another vendor includes two large sizes of flavors that I love and one sample size of a new flavor to try. The other package is from SI that includes three 5ml sizes from Nicquids. I will most certainly try Nicquid's new butterscotch first. I love trying out new flavors. The only criteria for me is... all the juices have to come from vendors with good reputations and good customer service reviews.

You are probably better off that way if you want to save money. I have sampled so many flavors. Flavors that people here will stake their own little lives on, but to me they tasted completely awful. Of the 15 different samples I've tried, I like maybe 2-3 flavors I would consider using every day. The smokeless image flavors (particularly 555 to me) are not that terrible as people make them out to be and I quite like them. I bought a bottle of 555 eliquid from them and have HHV BBW & AV stuff as well.

I had to come back and reply to my earlier post. Yesterday I decided to revisit Nicquid's Midnight Express and now I really REALLY like it... could NOT put it down. Started it late afternoon and continued with it the rest of the day. To me it has a dark sultry complex taste that I can't really describe but it kept getting better and better. It won't take the place of my #1 fave, SI's RY4, nothing so far tops that for me, but for a change up, Midnight Express has definitely found a place on my favorites list.
