New and i think i made a mistake?

Hello everyone

I ordered a Vapor King Platinum Starter Kit from Electronic Cigarettes Inc on Friday. I did a few hours of research before ordering. I have spent the better part of today doing a little more research and figured out that the kit i wanted to order was a Vapor King kit from V4L not from E-cig inc. After more research i also found out that e-cig inc is notorious for having terrible customer service and slow shipping time. I'm trying to quit analogs since my grandfather was recently diagnosed with emphysema. He smoked for 25 years then he quit and that was nearly 25 years ago. I have been smoking for 8 years and have tried everything to quit. I currently smoke 2 packs a day and I am hoping this is my answer.

I guess what I'm trying to ask is has anyone else delt with the kit i ordered? if so did they have any problems with e-cig inc? if so can you explain.

I know its a 501 other then that im lost and still learning.

PS about 5 people where i work recently quit smoking using ecigs which has me optimistic all 5 ordered the Blu ecigs. I went different because everything i read said to avoid them. Was this a wrong decision should i have gone with the masses?

If it's a 510 don't worry about it. It's a good e-cig. Lots of good suppliers around here if eci wont help. Parts are cheap and plentiful.

If you don't want to keep it see if they wil take it back or sell it in the classifieds here. You'll lose a few dollars but it's better than nothing.

I use a 510 by the way and like it.

the 510 is a good e-cig and like you i've heard bad things about the blu. try any of the vendors in the states for more needs such as batteries and atomizers and juice. Myfavorite is rocky mountain vapor. others have different favorites. if, after a week it still hasn't arrived you might try somewhere else and when it does arrive you'll have some extras that you will need eventually.

Don't sweat it too much, Mestra. I think Wireguy & john doe's comments are right on the money. I'd suggest trying to get ahold of E-Cig inc on Monday, if you wanna cancel your order - but do some more research in the meantime.

If you haven't yet, go read the Wonderful World of Vaping - I used it to figure out what kind of ecig I wanted for my first order. Indispensable resource.

Thanks for all the replys im gonna give them a shot but im gonna stay on top of them since they are suppose to be bad at shipping. The reviews i have read says they took 1-2 weeks just to get the product in the mail which is way to slow in my book. I think overall i will be happy with it.

As of right now im to short on cash (in fact so short that if this kit doesnt work im still gonna have to use it because i spent my next 3 weeks worth of analog money on it). I will however give V4L's a try if im not satisfied after 3 weeks with this one. I am either gonna hit a home run or strike out nothing in between.

The good news is i will be ordering a V4L VK soon anyways as a birthday gift for my mother she is in the same boat as me wants to quit but nothing worked. so once thats ordered hopefully i can give it a try and make sure i like it.

I think most of us make mistakes at first. The 1-2 weeks waiting time is ridiculous. The suppliers I use sends my orders in 2-3 days. Is this a Joye 510. The off brands are not as reliable.

Hey Jeff,

I also ordered my 510 from eCigs Inc and received it in 3 shipping days (Monday being a holiday), although I did shell out the extra 8.50 for priority mail. Like you, I may have spent too much time researching the ins-and-outs of PVs rather than legit companies to order them from, and was concerned that I had possibly been ripped off from a company that appeared to have a select few VERY dissatisfied customers. So rather than spending the last few days on ECF researching juice and mods, I spent my free time researching reviews of a company that had already taken my money.

Well, it's here and I'm very happy with it, although I will say that I'll be getting additional supplies from an alternate source; I have read a number of their "damage control" posts on various sites, and it seems that their ethics aren't quite where I'd like them to be. If I experience a problem with a product, ANY product, I expect a certain level of customer service, and it's evident from statements made by eCigsinc that they will not take the lion's share when various PV issues occur. Perhaps there are a number of individuals who have experienced nothing but good things, but if that's the case than their voices are silent.

It also seems that their kits/carts/juice are a bit overpriced considering some of the other companies I've looked into in the past 24 hours, but hey, can't blame someone for trying to squeeze out some extra cash. The only problem with that sort of business model is that sooner or later people get wise, and then your profits drop faster than NBC's late night ratings.

That being said, the decision to wait for shipping that's reminiscent of someone walking the product to your house or wrestling with the company to get your money back is entirely up to you. But take it from me - there are far easier ways to go about this vaping business, and it starts here in these forums.

I bought the Platinum kit from them also. I ordered the Friday after Thanksgiving and received it the following Monday. I am still using my first atomizer also. I later ordered some extra parts (battery, 2 attys, carts) and they took about a week and a half to get here. I assume if they have the kit in stock it should arrive quickly. It is the spare parts that take some time. Their juice is good stuff but it is very pricey. I won't be ordering that from them

Yea I'm hopeful now i got an order confirmation at 5 today (SUNDAY ) said it shipped Friday the day i ordered so now I am happy. Was sent USPS on Friday. Tracking number is not showing anything but it could just be because it was shipped recently. I am just hoping that they last a while my parents came over today to see my son and my dad had bought a carton of Gamucci Disposable e-cigs and left me one it lasted all of 3 hours and the pack said it was = to 25 analogs. Also i had trouble with it flooding? would get a sweet numbing taste on my lips (i may be weird but i kinda like the taste) and the cart would be soaking wet.

At least i have nothing to worry about with the shipping now Im hoping it comes in soon so i can give it a whirl
