Optimo. Have you tried the ssmesh and siica set up on the standared size Phoenix?

Yeah it works great. I turned one of my posts so I can stick it in the center. Be careful turning the posts though don't use too much force. I just stuck a needle inside the post hole and gave it a slight turn.

another question is dhould i unravel the 3mm wick..or leave it together for the ss.

I would leave it together and just fluff it up a bit before wrapping the mesh around it. Once you put the mesh on it just roll it around in your fingers to tighten it down onto the wick. You want it so it's not too loose but not too tight either...just to where it can barley move side to side on the wick when force is used.

havent gotten the ss yet..but got some new wick. made a coil..it first read 1.8 ohms..tasted a little better then the old wick i had..but still an off taste. then read my ohms again..it was 2.5. adjusted voltage..and 20 min later..2.0 ohms. what would be causing this..thanks

Sounds like the coils are either shorting out/touching each other or touching the posts/casing. Make sure you cliped off all the wire you can after running it through the post holes as that can touch the sides/shell and case shorts also.

Hello Optimo,

I am one of your viewers on the forum and YouTube. I have been fan of your videos and reviews since I got into vaping. Recently, I watched this video while I am searching for a new tank or cartomizer or atomizer for my first time VV (Lava Tube). It is really a great video and now I really want one.

However, if you don't mind, can I ask you some questions? For flavor and clean vaping, which one would you recommend? tank or cartomizer or atomizer. Also, for Pheonix Rebuildable Atomizer, where can I get all the supplies? Phoenix, ss mesh, silica wicks, etc?

I would be very appreciated if you could answer my questions. Thank you, Optimo :)

Atomizers will have the best flavor but carto tanks arn't bad for a hassle free vape. The Phoenix will have a even better flavor than your standard atomizer. You can get everything you need from DIY Rebuildable Atomizer Parts : Stormys Vapor Cellar, Electronic Cigarettes & More

You might be able to find it cheaper on ebay though.
