Quick question for you guys. I'm still using my original Phoenix rba clones and one of them is acting wonky. The ohm's jump up/down/up/down and it will go so low my Young June can't handle it and reads low. I'll put it on my Precise P18 and it works, but it will heat up blazing hot and sends heat down to the bottom button like a flash and burns almost like a shock!

i've looked at the innards and everything looks ok. Scared to use it unless i'm trouble shooting it. Any ideas what to look for? I need to check e-shots and see where i can get one of the newer ones when i am able.

Sounds like a short, probably the center pin. The silicon isolator is probably cut or damaged and allowing the center to touch the body of the threads
