Atomizers will have the best flavor but carto tanks arn't bad for a hassle free vape. The Phoenix will have a even better flavor than your standard atomizer. You can get everything you need from DIY Rebuildable Atomizer Parts : Stormys Vapor Cellar, Electronic Cigarettes & More

You might be able to find it cheaper on ebay though.

Thank you for your answers Optimo!!!
I do apologize, but I do have some more questions.
1. Which cartomizer tank would you say that it was the best you have used thus far?

2. Which wire and ss mesh did you use for your Phoenix rebuildable atomizer?

Thanks a lot, Optimo :)

Np...ask as many questions as you want...that's what I'm here for :)

Pretty much any carto tank will be the same flavor wise as long as you're using boge cartomizers which will give you the best flavor and carto life imo. A really cheap yet good carto tank that I have used which worked really good and super easy to fill would be the tripple V polypro carto tank from ValleyViewVapes. It's only $7.99 and comes wiht a pre punched Boge SR or LR carto.

I use 400 SS mesh and 32 awg kanthal wire for my Phoenix.

If you have anymore Qs feel free to ask away :)

Thanks for your understanding and taking time to answer my questions!!! :) I remember watching your video about that tank you suggested.

However, it seems that I got too excited and made a mistake. I wanted to ask you about any tanks that you could recommend and not cartomizer tank specifically. I have been using KR808 for a long time. Now, I got my PV (Lava Tube) for the first time and I want to find a good tank that will give a good flavor and most importantly a good vaping experience.

Even though I would really like to try Phoenix rebuildable atomizer with your suggestions, I guess I would like to give tank a go first and see how that is like.

Sorry for asking again the similar question and thanks Optimo

I would go with a genuine Vivi Nova version 2.5 or3 mini tank. Cleanest tasting tank I ever vaped hands down.

Thank you!!! I will get one as soon as possible!!! And do you think that using ss mesh wick on vivi nova or 100% unbleached cotton wick would make a better vaping experience? Is ss mesh safe for health?

Sorry for the late reply...but yeah you can use either of thoes I would recommend trying the cotton first because SS mesh is alot of work to get just right and yeah SS is alot safer for your health than silica wicks you will find in everything.

Is the XL that much better than the smaller version. I just don't see myself paying $40 for a larger one when I can get the smaller one for like $7.99. It seems a bit over priced IMO. Thanks for the review.

The price of the regular Phoenix RA's were never supposed to go that low. Clones of the original Eshots Phoenix were made and set at really low prices which made Eshots retailers drop their prices to stay in the game. This is why Eshots is no longer going to let them sell the XL. If it won't for the knockoffs (clones) the original Phoenix would still be around $30.

To answer your question, the difference with the bigger one is, it's easier to use because of the space and it holds more juice. It also comes apart in 3 different sections for easier cleaning and wick/coil alignment. It also dosen't have plastic on the posts so you don't have to worry about your coil melting/burning plastic. Other than this it pretty much vapes the same as the small one.

Thank you for the info!!!
I am still new this world of rebuilding and replacing the wicks. I will take your advice and I should try cotton first. However, I am curious about why some people (also in your video) set up a hybrid wick? Is it better than just using the cotton or using only ss mesh?

If it is possible, do you know a good tutorial or thread to show how to set up a cotton wick? Also, if I were to use ss mesh, do I need to oxidize the whole wick for vivi nova or just the center part where the coil will wrap around?

Sorry for questions after questions

They hybrid wick is good for not having to use the SS mesh vertical which is harder to get right with excess wire going to the posts and what not. The posts in the atty/tank have to be positioned just right for a vertical SS mesh setup. The hybrid setup also wicks pretty damn good. It's best to oxidize all of the SS mesh to prevent any shorts all around. Just do a search on youtube for the cotton wick tutorial should find some good stuff. I haven't tried cotton myself but I plan to.

Thanks a lot for the detailed info and the link!!!
I guess I will have to try different wicking methods and see which works the best for me.

Thanks again and I definitely will be watching your videos so keep up the good work!!!
Talk to you later, Optimo.
