I have seen a stop smoking specialist at my psychological venue.

They wanted to know if I wanted to reduce to a certain level that would be ok for me to cope with, or, reduce to quit. I choose the latter, and they wanted to know how much I smoked I said between 15 and 26, as it depends on the time that I get up in the morning and what time I go to bed, also my illness states that I would smoke more if I become unwell.

I will be reducing my consumption by 2 each week.

I have since been there twice, and so far my main intake has been 22 a day or thereabout, as I have a spreadsheet for the day and week average.


They told me to use patches and was on the 16 hours 10 mg kind, now I will be using the 15 mg kind since I did not increase or decrease.

So will now change my banner for my birthday, as I want to quit smoking, by smoking less, and doing some vaping in between. Then if that is done, I would like to vape once gotten rid of smoking.

So far I have been doing nearly 2 hours each day off the cigs apart from today in which I had done 4 hours after my first cigarette, then started to smoke again.

But since getting up at 12:20 PM today, and vaping from 12:30 until 16:30. I will take that any day.

But my consumption has not gone down only between 20-26.

Went to the no smoking clinic on Tuesday and was told to use my patches as I was not. As they need to know if I should need a higher dose.

But did reduce by 3 to make 19 that week.

Now I will be seeing them in two weeks.

As they have quite a lot of patients to see.

Nothing wrong with wearing patches if they give you some base amount of Nic in your system to take the edge off. Then the vaping can help the behavioral aspect of it. You are sounding a little more positive. I see the difference.

Have been keeping a diary of my consumption to see how many I have been smoking in a week.

So far my consumption had stayed the say so 20 per day over the last 2 week, but it does have some that fall below that on some days. It is an average really.


Had 8 today before starting to vape at 1 PM.

Still vaping and coughing but I will have to endure this to get back off the ciggys for life.

I hope that I can beat my 42 days, but with little steps and all.

Nearly two weeks ago I posted my last update.

went to the smoking clinic last Tuesday, and was told if I do not use my patches and see some results, I will be struck off, as I am seen as not wanting to quit smoking.

Although, when I do have a patch on it is either 13-16 smoked in a day.

Last Tuesday, I did smoke 13 before 2:30 PM and vaped practically nearly all day, until 10:30 came around in which I smoked 1, then you know where this is heading, I smoked a further 3, making the tally 17.

On an endnote, I have the 24-hour patch that is 25mg.

I have used 4 of the 7 in the box, and ceased smoking since 3 PM today, tried to do subΩ but could not inhale.

So now I have reduced my Watts to 8.5 on a 1.22Ω coil running at 3.22 volts.

With 18mg Nicotine, with full airflow open on Siren V2.

Went to the smoking clinic yesterday and said that i was smoking about 13 a day with the patch on and they said well done, that makes an improvement over the 19 you were previously smoking. As I wanted to quit by my birthday.

Since it was the 5th yesterday and usually find that I usually quit for my birthday about 5 years ago that I find that I need to do it today, but no luck and I counted how many I smoked with the patch on and It was 13.

But since it is my Birthday today and am 1 year older (39). That I stopped smoking last night at 9 PM, then went to bed, could not sleep so went on Xbox, then went downstairs. Came back up at 12:30 AM and went to sleep.

Woke up this morning at 7:40 and started to vape as I wanted to be smoke-free today.

Then had 5 within 1 hour 20 minutes until 10 AM in which I have not smoked anymore. And am not going to smoke anymore.

Sorry if I have not been keeping you updated guys/gals.

But I have been smoking and had to tell a lie about how many to my no smoking clinic.

As if I had told the truth then I would receive no support.

I have been looking at the data, and it shows it went back to normal two weeks ago, so I have to either continue to smoke or try vaping and nicotine patches.

I think the main reason It went back to normal is that I have not been putting the patch on.

So today as of 1 PM I started to vape.

Only that I have 11 left in packet downstairs that will either be given to mother or discarded.
