Happy to be... Not Smoking!!!
I was saved I couldn't find the dani 27-- anyplace. NO telling me please. LOL.

Happy memorial day weekend. If you have to switch out the charger plate to charge things I refuse to buy it. It's not cheap they should have figured that stuff out.

Anna
you are right...

that 2.95 pounds adapter is soooooooo expensive!

i think it would be worth it...

I find it very handy for charging, just as the dani box built so well and the price, just expected better quality.
The inserts are not marked either for which model or which way round they insert into charger, and if you don't sit your mod right, it doesn't charge, so normally takes me 2 or 3 tries before get it charging.

I love my dani boxes and they are worth the money, just can't say the same for the charger, IMO should be around 40 maybe 50 at a push, but as said, that's just my opinion, and my wife often tells me, mine doesn't matter :)

For me it's the labor of switching the insets. Although the price doesn't hurt.

Also I consider that type of charging just one small step away from like, studying the dark arts.

I would rather unscrew the battery cap for free, plus it burns calories.

I should probably buy some more battery caps when I get my 27-- series dani, because well, you know me.

I have a lot of Dicodes; with the Extreme's I've never tried to buy a wrap for them, I ended up getting a highly-rated leather case for the #6 and the Mini off Dicodes groups on Facebook. And, they're nice. The problem is, they add thickness to the mod so suddenly it doesn't fit into pockets as easy. You can't use the wrap and the Dicodes charger at the same time, because it won't fit, and if the wrap is well made/tight ... good luck getting it off when you need to charge the battery. Sure, you can, but as you're doing it, it gets looser and looser.

So personally I've used the cases/wraps once or twice to try them. Okay great, then immediately gave up on them after having to change the battery (not worthwhile in my opinion). The finish on all Dicodes is pretty tough. Yes it will wear and get scratches as time goes by, but it's pretty resilient.

But that's just me. I use Dicodes naked, and an iPhone X with the most basic wrap around silicon case for the phone that just provides a small lip if you drop the phone display side down on the ground, it bounces. Works for me. Of course there's an entire market for armour-plated bulletproof iPhone cases which make the phone twice as thick, and half as responsive if you add the touch-screen cover, etc, etc, etc.

To each their own, your milage may vary, the bag is half full not half empty, etc.

At the end of the day, it amounts to: okay, I need my phone, need my e-cig, my wallet has been compressed down to credit cards and ID and use contactless payment whenever possible anyway, car keys, and hey, I'm out of pockets and don't carry a man purse and avoid carrying bags whenever possible, so... nude dicodes.

I don't remember anyone here indicating that they had one of the leather sleeves, but I could be wrong. I honestly have not bought anything off the bay in a long long time, do they give a option to ask the seller a question?
I agree on the silicone sleeves, I still use them with my Radius's. I kind of wish I would have bought more of them, when I had the chance. I only bought 2 of each color, and they are wearing out. :|

Just want to tell you guys... I am blown away by Creme de Vape's customer service. I had ordered the Dani Mini like many of you. Unfortunately, they sent the wrong color. I contacted Keith and he setup the return shipment, and paid for the return. He also put my purple Dani in the mail before the returned one was in the mail back to him. That speaks volumes!!!

I just received the package. Not only did I receive my purple Dani Mini, but also a Creme de Vape coffee cup filled to the top with caramels, a Creme de Vape notepad, and the cloth and keychain that they send regularly. To top it off, a handwritten card apologizing for the mistake on the initial thing.

Just WOW!! These people are something special.

That is the one I want, and they have been out of stock for a while now. Hopefully my timing will be right, when they put that one back in stock.

I am just impatient, I was originally planning to order one last Sunday, but no stock. I am not sure why, but they have not been restocking these as quickly as usual. :?:

I know she said she thinks it's already taken, KAS, but maybe a quick email to Keith, just to scope the scoop?

    Nothin' to lose, I'd say.

I will just wait and watch, if they show stock then I will order it. Maybe I will get lucky,
(cash wise) and it will end up on next months bill.

Vape market seems to be unforgiving. In the last year, the top quality manufacturers seems to be in trouble. First Yihi, then Lost Vape.

So - of the non - custom devices - only Dicodes has been holding the line. And, I got some more Danis just because they are the only decent commercial devices left on the market.

It seems they are overwhelmed, but it's better so - I wouldn't appreciate a quality drop conseguent to a manufacture outsourcing.

I find the non-mini Dani to fit my hand better. Have the black and blue, there is a red model available but I don't see it on CDV.

I have an hunch they may be working on something new, i.e. on two cell designs, which would require some new, long term financial planning from my side.

The fact that Dicodes devices become available all together for a small windows of time, is totally unhelpful.

Regarding the Dani charger. I have one, and I don't know if I need a second. Yes, it is expensive, but I can say for certain - it is not overpriced. Meters are 1 percent precision, the charger is fully thermally compensated, the battery is treated as I've never seen, it has a third brightness level which kicks in after 96 hrs iirc, it's going to last for years.
Short fact: the Dicodes charger is not a consumable, and people doesn't always agree, because it is reflected on the price.

It is seven years that I purchase vape stuff from CDV, mostly Dicodes and Kayfuns, and yes, it is the only webshop that never made a delivery error - which is highly remarkable. Also they consider the regulars, which is another rarity in a software-driven activity.
Most important thing of all, they don't try to save on packing and shipping. An increasingly rare breed of traders.
