Vape market seems to be unforgiving. In the last year, the top quality manufacturers seems to be in trouble. First Yihi, then lost vape.

So - of the non - custom devices - only Dicodes has been holding the line. And, I got some more Danis just because they are the only decent commercial devices left on the market.

It seems they are overwhelmed, but it's better so - I wouldn't appreciate a quality drop conseguent to a manufacture outsourcing.

I find the non-mini Dani to fit my hand better. Have the black and blue, there is a red model available but I don't see it on CDV.

I have an hunch they may be working on something new, i.e. on two cell designs, which would require some new, long term financial planning from my side.

The fact that Dicodes devices become available all together for a small windows of time, is totally unhelpful.

Regarding the Dani charger. I have one, and I don't know if I need a second. Yes, it is expensive, but I can say for certain - it is not overpriced. Meters are 1 percent precision, the charger is fully thermally compensated, the battery is treated as I've never seen, it has a third brightness level which kicks in after 96 hrs iirc, it's going to last for years.
Short fact: the Dicodes charger is not a consumable, and people doesn't always agree, because it is reflected on the price.

It is seven years that I purchase vape stuff from CDV, mostly Dicodes and Kayfuns, and yes, it is the only webshop that never made a delivery error - which is highly remarkable. Also they consider the regulars, which is another rarity in a software-driven activity.
Most important thing of all, they don't try to save on packing and shipping. An increasingly rare breed of traders.

Can you explain why/ who Yihi and LV are in trouble? There’s too many pages to read through to find out what’s on. Thanks

You can call up the menu of Dicodes by clicking one of the up-down buttons.
The number of rapid clicks to call the menu can be set in the menu itself, and can vary from one to five. The old Dicodes (2016 - 60 W) were set at three clicks, whereas the latest (80 W) models come out of the factory set at one quick click to access the menu.
BTW, not a fixed rule, as it is easily changed.
Once you grab the structure of the menu, it is very straightforward to operate. It is just different from the Chinese standard.

Regarding Yihi and LV. We have no info whatsoever about Yihi, just what we can infer from facts. They had no new designs since G class; released only a couple of new devices with diminished features; the SL has been marred by numerous returns and some uncorrected firmware bugs.

A direct voltage pod followed - and then nothing.

LV, see their website has become a placeholder; the company, after the release of the Orion and the Drone has split in two; and hasn't progressed since with new models, at a time when there are multiple release each week.

Lost Vape made outstanding devices with Evolv technology inside, and it is sad to lose such possibility now.
They made the Therion, by many considered the best vape device of all times.

Yihi, LV and Dicodes are my daily drivers... I may have to change something in the future.

I got a stabwoods mod. I like it just fine. It's a nice, decent vape but the stabwoods thing it's just not my bag. Yeah, it's pretty. Yeah, the vape is fine. WAY expensive pretty and worth it fine? Not so much.

I wonder if I can warranty the thing under the premise "I wish I bought a dani box instead?" I mean, I'm not gonna break it (on purpose anyway) but yeah, I have successfully proven to myself that my Dani Mini is the pinnacle of my vaping love. I wanted the larger battery one and ALMOST bought it.

Now, I can't. Except, it is my birthday on June 13th. Only it's my son's birthday on June 21st and I want to get HIM something luxuriant.

LOL at least I won't be going nuts over stabwoods. But if someone can figure out the "warranty issue" for me, I'm ALL ears, and ALL in. LOL.

Do you know if that Silver is going to be available to authorized retailers, or if it is a limited edition? I had never seen it discussed before, if so than I want one.

@kas122461 not sure if it's a limited edition but I know there is stock on the way to Creme de Vape in the UK! If you have never ordered from them then you are in for a pleasant surprise! They rock! Especially for Dani's!

Well that is good news then, all of mine came from CDV. I was waiting for the blue to be back in stock, so I guess which ever one shows stock first is the one I order.

Hi Rob

That's a beautiful line up.

By the way I feel i've almost met you since having you pointed out by Mark Todd on his live walk through at Stuttgard. I'm going to have to go next year as i'm only down in South France...

So are these your favourite all time mods or do you still prefer the evolv boards?

Cheers
Charlie

There are so many people I feel I know that I haven't met face to face... that's why I love the Expo's! Finally get to meet people I already know! :)

I do enjoy the DNA75C's because they are so easy to use but the Dani Mini is so comfortable and so resilient to sweaty hands and they ready do a great job... I have a nice collection of mods but the Dani's get the most use at the end of the day!

We found them, @Robfisher . Totally bummed that they're all out of stock (except some super f'ugly ones). At those prices, I'd have bit a few (at least).

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL (yours).

Keep an eye on the web site... he will be back in the workshop in a weeks time and will be making more...
