@Oliver thank you for giving us the extra rating choices. The only change I might do if I could it would be to trade the "useful" button for a "sad" or "read" button if they are available because useful and informative are basically the same.
I am taking to Aluminum more with use. I think it's been optimized a bit more as it's feeling a bit peppier. I like the look of it but found myself switching back to the "regular" look as it was a bit choppy. But with that working itself out, I can see myself moving over to it as this process continues.
Oliver, thank you for putting so much time and effort into this. I know how frustrating it can be, but it's really shaping up well!
There are browser addons like stylish that you can use to run dark themes for many of the more popular sites and social media stuff like facebook, instagram, reddit, etcWish there was a windows option to make all sites dark. (yes I know I can dim screen brightness, not the same as dark)

This rolling eradication of the graphical 3D landscape if perhaps providing some calculable performance gains server-side is minuscule in importance to the end user. In fact, to us old hands, it is monotonous in its uniform blandness and much harder on those with the less than the perfect visual acuity of the youngsters.
Just throwing this out there and I haven't poked around to see, but has everything been fine browser wise? No issues between say Chrome, FF, IE/Edge?
Edit: never mind, just did it and all looks OK on all 3 (looking at Aluminum only) but didn't try posting, upload image, etc, just toured
