Funny you should say that, and maybe you've already read about it
here - evic disassembly. This was discuss on the VP Live Team broadcast (i think that's the one) this last week about hacking into the evic software and hardware to reverse engineer and possible hacks. They discovered an 8bit chip (or something like that) that has the ability to play mp3s and wav files.
LOL, no I hadn't read that. Don't get me wrong, I like the eVic, but I was just trying to think of the silliest, yet plausible, things they could be doing.
Come to think of it though, maybe their intent is to have the eVic play sounds in the future, like "The Crown" is purported to do. Maybe some warning when it gets too hot, or if the battery level starts getting too low, that sorta thing. Maybe you can customize the sounds too, like "Smoking in the Boys Room" when you turn it on, etc.
