Colonel, have you modded them? I take out the inner ring, fluff up the wick a bit, and cut the channels in the inner ring a little larger before replacing. The juice must flow!

Actually I did just rip the ring out of one tonight. (figured if I broke it , no big deal). I vapid without the ring with better results. I didn't notch it (but I will) I just laid it back in gently trying not to pinch the wicks.

I think I'll still grab some of the higher resistance ones to try and get that 'sweet spot I've been hearing about.

Thanks.

Yuu don't always need to pull the inner fill ring out. All I do is simply slip something underneath that fill ring where the wick enters the cup and lift it up a few mm, do that on each side. This alleviates any stamping down on the wicks and and juice constriction that can occur, as it enters the cup.

Ive tried fluffing wicks, removing the cup ring and just using the small ring and I either get dry hits or floods.

These videos by bad kolo really piss me off now.... they make me think these items are really fixed or better then the last version yet I still end up disappointed.

This isn't GotVapes fault for products that don't hold up, but please stop with the over exaggerated videos of greatness!

3 out of 5 CE2 deluxe have all been awful tasting or with just the small ring in place, mediocre at best.... and I still have 2 in the package... so 0-3 on these so far.

the only thing that has held up was the tubes... I guess you have to take kolos videos with a grain of salt.

Edit: I'm using the 2.4 - 2.6 ohms.... Which I thought would be perfect for 3.7? After reading some posts here it seems others are having the burnt hair taste with these too. Mine are being charred after a 1/2 day of use.

Titan, try 2.6-2.8. For some juices, hotter vapes burn em quick. If you have a true 3.7 device, 2.6-2.8 won't be bad at all.

If it helps, I've been vaping using just ONE regular sized fluxo (5-6mL/day) on a bit over 2 weeks now. I clean once a week if I can be bothered to. No problems once you get em working how you want. I snip off the bottom side of the innermost ring and use the syringe bottles to fill.

Which brings me to thinking dan, what about the next rev having a slightly taller ceramic cup or a slightly shorter skirt on the inner ring? That'd solve a TON of cramping issues and make it great out of the box.

People automatically, at times, go for the lowest ohm on these and its not always the best situation. A fully charged 3.7 device can actually come in over 4.0v at full charge, and usually do.

WE would definitely recommend and try the 2.6-2.8 versions if you are using a 3.7 device...

The Fluxos come in ALOT of options for your ohmage so sometimes if you find a ohmage isn't cutting it on your PV it might be best to try vaping it on an eGo 3.2 or if you have one of our VV devices try a different voltage with it. There is no one-size-fits-all in the world of vaping...so don't be discouraged.

I have been using the 2.6-2.8 version for over a week now on my 3.7 volt mod and I I love it. I was just wondering, how long does one fluxomizer last? Since 5 come in a pack I would assume not tooo long. Are there ways of cleaning them? After over a week of heavy vaping it kind of seems like the vapor production is dropping. Normally with my attys I would just dry burn them them to get all the crud off but since there is a wick attached and you can't totally empty one one of these, that solution seems out of the question.

edit: My battery was just crappin out on me. Put in a new battery and back in business. Kick ...!

You can dry burn the clear versions easily. I take off the tube (wiggle it back and forth carefully) and run them under warm water. Dry the wicks and dry burn until the coils are clean. The steel version might be a little tougher but you can probably use the same method by pulling the wicks up and out of the tube. I've had many that last me a month before the coils die.

I got my new fluxos yesterday, right out of the box the two that i've filled work great for me on my eGo batts. I did have to do some shaving on the tubes at the connector end to get 'em to work on my Icon, but that's not a big deal, since the tubes will finally outlast the coils :toast: hurray for HDPE!!!

My ONLY complaint, the green and clear ones would LOOK so much better if the caps were white/clear, like the originals. The black caps make them 'top heavy'.

Home Run guys, thanks for your efforts. Can't wait for MORE COLORS :D

old clear/white caps, on the icon..

For those having problems with a burnt taste out of the box, they do take a little bit of "breaking in" so don't be discouraged and write them off. Fresh out of the pack the coil is all shiny clean and burns a lot hotter. With my 808s, I wouldn't use a fully charged battery for a few days because 4V+ on a new 2.6-2.8ohm would invite a burnt taste until the coil caramelized. Also make sure the coils aren't touching the silicone seal. That will taste very nasty.

I just got a VV ego this week (first 510, love it! love it! love it!) and used 3.2V to get it going, then raised to 3.7V after about 5-10 mins. Chain vaping at 4.2V made it go dry for the first few days, but now it's great. I've been in love with CEs since v4, and the deluxes are great.

This needs to be noted. Chain vaping when it's brand new burns the stuff FAST. 3 pulls and I've gotta wait. After a day or so though you're gold.
