hey jim, loving everyones pics even though they;ve got me and my gf arguing about which finish to get, lol. hope to snag a poldiac soon and was wondering when you would be putting some more of the full satin;s up?

That's the beauty of "pants" and "shirts" - you never have to decide on a finish. I did the factorial of my setup - I have 15 unique combinations.

Hi Bernie, I believe it's for all. We can't post link here it's against ECF rules and regulation!

Thanks mate, yeah I just notice it on google+ was about to post you the link:) couldn't find anything regarding rules and regs. I suppose this one will still keep going google + is a pain in the .....
And Jim does say all are welcome too!

My vapemail delivered at 3:30pm, the good lady wife got it for me while I was picking up the kids from school.

Customer service is nop notch. Not only was shipping fast, Jim took care of a very minor shirt "issue" I had. The Poldiac continues to grow on me and that's after being extremely pleased the first day. I think I heard there is an all-brass polished version coming out - is this still the case? Trying to coordinate a wardrobe that includes brass pieces for my next purchase.

Great to see you back Burnie! I wondered where you ran off to. Thank goodness you're alright!
haha, now I want an ebaron too. You're an instigator! But those look pretty darn sweet. Great for juice taste testing.
I couldn't get my igo-l apart to set it up. Today my gkid took it apart for me, and now it's pretty easy to snap on and off. I wish and hope for Jim to come out with a dripper this year some time.
I hope your recovery goes smooth and fast.

Recieved eBaron Uma, best dripper I have ever tried! kind of looks a bit like a mini Gemini. Looks good on Poldiac too it would great! with 22mm base, very simple to change coils for testing juice.
Have had some great remarks on the Poldiac in regards to its great quality.

I was wondering if someone could give me their voltage under load with a .8 ohm coil. I'm using aw imr 18650 2000mah fresh charge 4.21 volts no load. Under load i'm getting 2.68 volts. That seems rather low. I search and found the average internal resistance of the same battery is around 100 mOhms. All my contacts are clean. And the battery is only a couple of weeks old.
Thanks

Thanks for the first hand review of it. It's officially now on my wish list. :)

Hi everyone been hybernating due to the bad weather and floods, so not been posting much.
I have 3.7-3.8v on my Poldiac under load measured on the atomizer terminals with an Aw 18490 running a 4wrap 0.8ohm coil with a fresh charge.
This did not come easy though as I've had a few issues. First I had a dead short or two when the tails of my freshly installed coil got tangled and promptly melted both hotsprings, then I installed a solid spring from an Allan key set ( you know the ones from the dollar shops black anodized ones on a ring mounted on compressed springs) then I slightly melted the delrin slot that holds the silver player contact pin in the button shaft, this screwed its position and meant it failed to contact both pins without an extremely hard push of the button. I have since reworked the delrin slot and packed the pin with copper strands to repair this aspect and true up the pin and slightly shorten the throw of the switch ( which I never lock).
One strange thing that also seemed to affect voltage under load was the position of the delrin threaded insert in the top 510 connector topcap, I found if it was screwed in all the way into the 510 connector topcap I couldn't get more than 3.3v with the 0.8 ohm coil under load, but if I wound it out a little ( so there is a tiny gap between the top and the button shirt) I was back up around 3.7v, don't ask me why I can't work it out but it works like that for me on my Poldiac.
The final set up running now has two springs in the battery cap from the Allen key set one large one a bit smaller one inside the other, plus I have a length of copper stranding from a 6inch length of thin speaker wire balled up in the innermost spring.
If I was running my Panasonic 2250mah LMRs I would expect to get around 3.8-3.85v under load with my 0.8ohm coil.
This said, I have abused my Poldiac and the main problems I had are down to this and not Jim's quality workmanship. The Poldiac is my mech mod of choice to this day.
