Ordered on 6/27. Website says "complete". Only email I've seen is the one with an invoice that came right after I ordered.
If all runs as is weeks gone by your order would ship this week. Jim did post that he would send out the numbers tomorrow. Fingers and toes crossed yours should be shipping.

My DID hates me. I found one issue that could help other people though. I had the top connection secured by the flat parts of the nuts. The brass was not flat and I had to switch them around. It felt like it was tight and when I pulled on the wire it came out with little to no effort. I did not over tighten them before, but they still raised by the threads due to the brass being so soft. If your having trouble with your did that can be easily overlooked.

I made the perfect coil after that but the strangest thing happened. The mesh started peeling like a banana!!!!! WTF. So I had to make another one and it sucks. I guess the first one was to oxidized and the second not enough. One of them days today. Nothing wanted to work with me but the $8 vision stone, or the carto.

I dropped and lost one of the brass nuts today, lol my 1st day with the DID. Any suggestions for a quick fix? Will any nut that fits do? Or should it be brass as well?

U can use a normal nut but just temporary and don't over tighten. Just snug it. Otherwise the brass is soft and will strip out on you.

I had the same situation, only on 2nd day :) So while my nuts are on the way, I'm using regular nut which has smaller OD. It sits on a bottom and I tighten my wire with a brass nut.

Got my DID last night when I got home from work, thanks Jim it's beautiful!!
Must have eaten my lucky charms cause I prepped my wick, wrapped a coil in a 4/5 wrap and used the ciggy paper trick. Perfect coil ohming at 2.3ohms and after vaping half a tank it is starting to come to life. I'm quite happy with my purchase so far and really happy my new ss vmax is not popping coils so far, looks damn sweet on that mod as well:)

Just outside my comfort zone.
Hi K-man, I don't even use the nuts, I just wrap around the post like a genisis. Works great.

I hate beginner's luck when it doesn't happen to me. Kudos Kurtus! I think your wrap and resistance is the perfect place to be with a vmax.

EDIT: Please post pics of your DID on the SS vmax. Still waiting for mine to arrive.

I ordered (#868 shipped 28th)around the same time as you and I just got the email telling of the new shipping options for future orders.I went to the website and my account and after lunch it showed the status going from "complete" to "shipped" with the registered number after it.The number only became "trackable" a few days later. It is just now as of last night showing up on usps.com's site. With today being a holiday I wouldn't expect to see anything different until probably Monday concerning usps site though.
