Yes.
I've recently stumbled onto this method, and have a lot to learn about it. (sizes of wire, types of wire, how many wraps around the wick, etc).
But here's a tip or two to get started:
1. put the two ends of wire in a vice grip,
2. put the other two ends on a wire coat hanger
3. twist the coat hanger until desired wrap (tension) is reached.
4. this provides uniform twist of the two wires
5 wrap around your wick normally.

(tips from Grizewald... who also discovered the blue flame and the usb zoom from amazon for taking closeup pics and for wrapping your coils)

I am definitely going to try that!! (even though my repeatability rate on my single wire sucks) :p

I think i am OCD...keep wrapping coil after coil chasing after good vapor.

Sometimes i get it, sometimes i dont.

Oh well, just got to keep at it.

Hey guys, I am, of course eyeballing the mini DID, thinking this might be a real pocket friendly device, what bat would pair, do ya think, for quick grab and run use. Better go order.

the DID works real well on a Twist :) and using a twist you still get the benefit of VV

Here is a picture of it on a 1000mah Twist.

Did you try this setup on your max....is the max too much for such a small coil?

The max doesn't seem to want to play nice under 1.5, I think that leads to an F1 or some other silly flashing

I also don't trust the max when setting up a genesis, maybe I'm crazy but it seems to CREATE shorts sometimes. Once things are nice and broken in its fine though.

Maybe its me, but my sweet spot is still 3 wrap, kanthal 32, 3.2 ohms, vv set at 4.4, 50/50 on pg/vg, 8 mg nic, and I get all the vape and TH I can handle. Recently dropped my nic from 16-18 to 8, all thanks to my DID producing incredible vape and TH. I NEVER got close to this satisfaction on cartos or tanks!

The eGo Twists are nice!! I love mine and can't wait to get the Mini DID for them (elegant, vV, pocket friendly with the 5 click shut off/on, affordable, fast charging with the fast charging and did I mention affordable? :)

and yes, the regular DID even works on them too, for those times your Mini DID is undergoing baths or rewiring...

You'll have the rba mastered before you know it! It's all in the tension and oxidizing.
Don't forget, it takes a little while for everything to kick in good... like a new car, ya gotta keep er under the speed limit the first 500 miles and then she roars.

Just wrap your wire around a simple drill bit, or anything round the size you want it for a perfectly uniform coil.

What is the zoom needed for ? people cant see there wrap ? dont get it ?
Jim said that once he gets a good zoom zoom, he'll make another tutorial, complete with all the info.
Also, folks like me, have a hard time seeing the wire... it's as thin as a hair for heaven's sakes!
Also, the zoom on this usb gadget takes incredible photos! (for wrapped coils, etc.. ).
It pays for itself in no time.

to me with 2 wraps I get the best vapor production, I mean cloud of vapor. also as Uma said "it takes a little while for everything to kick in good", you have to vape couple of hours to see the result

I agree! To match a ss ego twist should it be the polished or satin mini DID? Just to be sure..

Good question! I assumed the shiney, but I am only guessing. I have a black one and a purple one, don't yet have a shiney one.
Oh man, can you imagine the Mini Did on the eGo DRAGON too???
