Anybody here tried twisted 28 yet?
Nope, been using twisted 34awg on everything now. Wow, that'd be seriously LR.

I'll get it Uma. I'm just a little frustrated right now. everytime i get close, i find the top screw loose and then the top coil breaks when i try to fix it or I go to wiggle a short out and the whole thing goes kaput again. I added the cig paper, and now i'm back to e1 errors. I'll keep fussin

it does seem like i have a problem getting the bottom coil to steer clear of the bottom nut as well. maybe i need to tighten that one down again?
If I do not have the wick in the coils, it burns evenly at 2.0. The wick started to unravel and is rather stiff. I am shrinking it up and i put more juice on and scorched it to try and tighten it up. When I put the wick back in, it stops being nice to me. I assume my problem thus, is the wick.
Yeah! I sense coil confidence rising. Now burn that wick into submission. It's common for the resistance to fluctuate a bit during break in. ~0.3ohm drop or less can heal itself as juice burns in or just a wick "twist" more than that and I would nudge the coil (or pull the wick and burn it again - I admit it I like the torch thing).
When doing the juice burn thing, it is supposed to catch fire. I stick the wick on the end of a metal tool, saturate the wick with juice (vg/pg is irrelevant) and light it with a lighter till it catches fire (not too close to the face - the buring juice spits and sizzles a bit). I hold it horizontal while burning and rotate it to get all the surfaces scorches till it burns out on its own.

thanks for the help! I think i just don't like the juice![]()
