Uma and Cyber, thanks for that.

Some incredible examples there Uma; I must say you have fine taste.
Carbon fiber sleeve on that Cham! Can't get enough of that stuff.

Was exploring 'kick' on the SuperT page and note it's out of stock.
What is the preferred P+ configuration for the kick....the 18500 or 18650?
Just wonder how long that lil' IMR18350 would last firing the DID? I do hear that 2-tone
calling to me. It's stunning.

Last try, are you all using the evape.gr site to order or a different site? It will not let me place an order because it says the product is out of stock, not available in that quantity(1). I promise I'm not stupid, god knows ive bought enough stuff online since I started vaping. I thought it might be an iPad issue, it doesn't always render sites properly, so I went to the desktop, same thing no go. I can get up to picking shipping option and that's it. I guess with as many people as do wanting a DiD, they don't Need my money;)

I know, right. Even Damascus steel, wood, colbalt, and so forth. Every time I go to clean out his closet for ebay, he grabs me and shakes his finger at me. :( Can't wait til hubbys back to work!

You'll need lots of spare batteries for the little 18350 guy, but it's so user friendly and stealthy. It will run the new Strata at single coil instead of at dual coil though, which means you'll probably pick up a bigger one too eventually anyway. Get one of each! :) Plus the DID works fantastic on the P+ anythings from what I've heard. They both are outstanding in their fields.

The kick? I think you get the 18650 model, put an 18500 batt in it and a kick, ... but I am not really in the know about this or the kick, as I have yet to kick anything. Hopefully someone knowledgeable will chime in soon.

Is this the coolest 4000th post ever or what! Love it! Congrats on your DID Mr. Mann!

Ain't that the truth!

So, I have not DID anything to my DID yet except getting to know the parts and inspecting it as if I worked for quality control. Man those are some tiny nuts! I am still trying to figure out how I want to set it up first. I only have my ProVari right now, so I am considering a 3/4 wrap and possibly the cigarette paper. We will see...I think I am still going to wait until tomorrow to start with the real set-up. I may not do the cigarette paper just so I can first try and get it right according to the more standard, bare bones approach. Once again, we will see...

p.s. If using an 18650 P+, I don't necessarily see the point in a Kick. The Kick is only going to provide you with 10 watts max where as with minimal wraps on The DID, the P+ can get a much higher wattage output (like RW's set-up:16.1W (0.8Ω at 3.7v).

Get a needle bottle, way easier for big fills ;-)

Needle Tip Bottle

Or just do a search on needle bottle.

Oh, I know about these. I was wondering about where I could pick something up that could replace those type of things so I could get to filling this tonight or tomorrow. I think I may be able to find something at a culinary arts/ baking store. I am about to eat and go find out.

Go to a farm store they have lots of syringes for animal use. I made a tank or two with them. I got mine from Orschelns. If you dont have a farm story try a petco or something like it.

I use a omega. I really enjoy a fresh battery. I think a 2/3 coil with 4.0 volts will be great. I will be getting a provari. It will hold the volts constant as you know.

Also try a pharmacy, just tell them what you're using it for and that you want a blunt tip 18g needle.

CVS, Walmart, etc.

If you get really desperate, you could drip liquid down the wick to fill, takes forever though.

The Kick kicks! Or rathor rocks. Worth the bit shorter battery life (about 2 hours). Go for the 18650 version of P+. Get AW 18500 (or 18490 they are the same) batteries and you will never ever count the coil wraps anymore.

10 watts I think is more, than enough. If you have minimal wraps you stress the coil very much that it will pop very shortly. If not and you put too much amper (4.6 in the above case) through the spring of the P+ then that will pop.
Even if you go for around 1 ohm to have tons of watt you get it in the first 1-2 hours of your battery life then it starts to drop - after a while quite heavily. With a Kick it remains the same all the way...

Have you all been cleaning the top post and nuts very often?! My brass nuts and post are oxidizing/gumming up from all the juice contact. Really hate to try and clean it while I have a good coil working.

Also, to those with a P+, can you get the DID to make contact with the positive post on the P+? Might have to put an o-ring under the DID post to extend it out a bit....

in a pinch I do this or just fill threw the drip tip and give it some time it will go down.
