Awesome!!! So now we have a method for making an emergency center pin. BTW, I forgot to mention earlier, my 2 SS upgrade kits have been shipped!!!! I can't wait for them, I'm so excited! :D

I forgot I did have to wrap the post with tape. So it would shout inside the channel. The screws are straight and way more rigid to it stays centered

Tony
Tony!! You're brilliant!!! I never would have thought of McGyvering a new temporary post. Sorry that you had to go through this, but thanks so much for sharing your solution!!!

Just got my Caravela yesterday and here are some pics of Mini and Standard DID's on the tubes. We took 81 pics to get these and two other pics not shown here. Diff. light and diff. times of the day.

The Mini is going to sit permanently on this one

You certainly hope NOT to. E1/E2 mean either your coil is too low resistance (not enough wraps) or you have a short (look for hot spots. Make sure your Provari is turned down to 3.0v to get started. Some things to try:
  1. Make sure the wick isn't touching bottom of tank, top cap or center post
  2. Nudge the coil above below a hotspot (current comes in from the poles so the short is towards the center of wick from where it glows red)
  3. Twist the wick a quarter turn to try and find better oxidized wick
  4. Pull the wick out (twist while pulling up) and torch again to add oxidation

I love vaping at .9-1 ohms at 3.7 volts... For this reason alone my provari has been reduced to exclusively being used to check for my atty's resistance lol... provari will fire .9 ohms at a max of like 3.5v i think maybe 3.4...

Just received the new Roller battery mod, telescopic stainless steel, all battery sizes!!!

Looks great with the DID atop, a precision engineered MOD to accompany a precision engineered atomiser.

The DID looks and fits great on that! I can't wait til mine gets here!!!! This mod is so clever for everybody, but especially for folks like me... now where oh where did I set that tube this time???... lol... I'll never have to worry about which tube to take, where my spare tube is, or anything. I'm soooooooo excited!!!! Plus I'm looking forward to spinning it while waiting in line at the grocers.... A fun mod as well as a beautifully engineered mod! I don't know which to love more, the mod or the people behind it!! It's supposed to be a surprise for me. Don't tell anyone that I know I have one heading for customs! :)

How long do you guys find it takes a brand new wick and coil to break in before you start getting good flavor? Thanks.
I find within 5-10 minutes I'm getting good flavor. From there it just gets better. About 1/4 seems to be the sweet marker.

Hey Yankee, no need for that - pm coming to you now with link. I think you will like it.
Dspin, that's not PM. That's a museum!
Same here! My first "premium" Genesis.

Big shout out to yankeebobo whom accidentally became an excellent mentor =D
Welcome bud - my only buyer who didn't buy but ended up buying elsewhere. Gotta love timing!

Amazing what happens when you vape a flavor in the DID and take that flavor to a carto. Today? I'd probably kill if my DID flavors had to go back to a carto. That's why my carto flavors will remain my carto flavors.

Side note: happy weekend to all. Expecting my GGTS tomorrow. Going to be a fun weekend.

And Jim....not sure how you decoded my emails, but you NAILED my order. It arrived today as a surprise. (Still showed in NY a few hours ago. Must have taken the express. :D. )

Man, those pictures that Dspin took makes the workhorse performance of the DID look like a freakin' dressage horse. hahahaha
Lovely description!

It fits in my tank case! Great, I can DID vape on the go.

I like that! I'm going to have to snag me a few of those. Where do I find those? (what are they called?)

Hi
I am ready to take orders again!
I must say that I made a good deal so this goes to you all
With all new orders for an atomizer you will have wire for a year maybe. lol
:p
20 meters of 0.2mm wire!
The new people need this!
Jim!!! You're so very generous to your customers!! If they had Vendor of the Year award, you'd be the winner by a mile! Thank you for taking such good care of us!

all depends on how you roll. some roll thin wall wick, some just roll it and get it to work first.

I routinely trim mine as I build the wick.

I would just get something that fit into the hole, oxidize it well and you should be all set. don't over think it... all that can come after you get a stable wick/coil setup.

I couldn't agree more. I think a lot of people get discouraged about genesis attys, b/c they think it requires an exact science. It really isn't! It's more of an art. All people need to focus on is oxidizing the wick enough. That is the main issue I see happening out there.

Yup!!! Don't forget to build a nice layer of pg or vg on it after oxidizing it. Just wet the wick the pg or vg and light it up. Make sure you have it over a surface that won't catch on fire if the pg or vg drips off. I made that mistake my first time with paper towels!
so burn it 3x with a quench afterwards right scott?

Yep, all genesis type attys really are user end dependent. I don't know about you guys but its the build that keeps me going :) I like to tinker hahaha
