I wasn't complaining at all. Sorry if it seemed that way. I am more than happy with the silver plated contacts. Lord knows every other APV maker wouldn't even have tried. It was more of a thought. Didn't know if it was possible or not. Wanted to get everyone else's take on the idea. Sorry if I seemed ungrateful. That was never my intent.

On a side note, I just wrapped a new coil of 3/2 28g kanthal and WOW! Now we're talking clouds! This is the best vape of my life!

Sorry my friend
my English are bad
I meant that I will try because silver is too soft material for machining it
So it has to be melted

Everyword was in a good way!!

no worries!!

What about the contacts. Are they Silver coated brass? I figure this was already covered, so sorry for the redundancy. If not then to add my 2 cents. I am sure Silver is a great conductor and its nice to see it being utilized here. But I seen someone already needs replacement parts and that makes we worry. So I for one would like to see some solid brass just to have something to fall back on in case. I would order mine with each set of contacts.

The two contact screws are Silver Plated Brass, the only other contacts are the switch magnets, I can't figure out why all this confusion.
All is Good! extra with order is good too for when you loose in the sink:)

I am using AW Imr 18490 1100 mAh, doing great for me, whats the difference Pete?
apart from 1mm:)

I use the AW's as well and they are just fine. The MNKE 18650's have a much higher maximum discharge rate so they work better for ultra low resistance coils (below 1.0Ω). They seem to put out > 3.9volts longer before dropping off. I change out my batts around 3.8 volts so even though they are a lower mAh, the usable range for me last longer. They make 26650's and 18650's but I really love the Poldiac in it's 18500 config.

does anyone knows if top cap d20 1mm airhole comes with the top connector together with the top cap?

When you order the individual top caps, it comes with the matched base + cap set (meaning air hole matches wick hole position - you reuse your hardware: tank, tank base, 0-ring, spacer, center post, etc).

So, I'm thinking about boring out my 1.2mm airhole on my d20, as I'm finding the draw a bit tight for my liking. For a looser draw, would you guys recommend boring out the existing airhole? Or would adding additional 1mm airholes produce a similar effect without loss of flavor?

I would drill a second small hole under the other. If you don't like it you can plug it. Need good drill bit and press. Center punch.

It's heeeeeeere!!!! Dang it's beautiful!!! I am at a loss for words.
I took pic after pic, but they all suck so far. I'll try again tomorrow in the daylight.
What do I do with the stuff in the plastic bag? (a skinny o-ring, 2 springs (1 silver, 1 brass), big black delrin thingie, and a silver button thingie).
I'm too excited to figure it out lol. I couldn't get my Gemini on it yet, so I know I gots to do something besides drool, cry, drool, spaz out, ...
Loved the packaging for the journey too. Very nice and safe!

off to watch Rick's video.

Yeah!!! the skinny o-ring goes in the groove where the shirt goes (might be a spare if one's already installed), the silver spring goes in the bottom cap (might be a spare if one's already installed), the brass spring can be used to convert the magnetic switch action to spring action (I don't use it), the spunky looking Delrin thingy is for lining up the button (only necessary after disassembling the button housing)and the silver buttony/cap thingie is used if you reconfigure with the button at the bottom (not used if button at top).

Thanks Cloud!! The video is buffering right now on the bottom button thingie, and everything you said is spot on and recognizeable to my overly hyped out mind. We're in sync! lol. Thanks for the explanation.
The shirt over the button was on, I don't know if there's one underneath or not. I tried to take the shirt off, but it thinks it's too cold in here or something and fought me. I'll try harder after I watch the video. Take off top cap, push button, pull... right?

Youre my kind of girl. First thing you wanted to do is take your shirt off. :).
