Hmm, my luck (or hidden strength...) My DID and the connector ring of the Poldiac seem to have fused together, I cannot get them apart! I am also afraid to use any kind of grippers on my DID since I currently have the plastic tube instead of the SS tube on it.

Help!

(for now it still vapes and I do still have my Provari to put my other DID's on, but it annoys me to bits.)

On a different note, I did get the courage to take the Poldiac apart and cleaned all the contacts (I cleaned everything that looked silver coated including the little pin inside the button) and managed to set the whole thing up with the button at the bottom! (I am quite proud of myself!) Love the button at the bottom in 18350 mode! :D

From now on use light coat of vaseline on everything that has a thread so this will not happen. You can remove battery and put the whole thing in the freezer for an hr, then take rubber grippers or rubber strap wrench and try to get it apart.

If this doesnt work, get some Kano Kroil spray it around threads and let it sit for abit and do its job. It's the oil that creeps into millionth of an inch spaces.

When ss to ss threads weld together - its a disaster

The freezer is a good trick. Another trick I learned because I don't have one of those pipe clamps like Rick does is to take a rubber band and keep wrapping it around the bottom of the DID tank. Do the same to the top cap of the switch assembly. Should provide you with enough grip to get it apart. Works like a charm and doesn't scratch up the Poldiac or DID. It used to happen with my iHy all the time.

:D *hands Uma a bib* (wanted to say more but found out the rest has already been answered)

*Points to the Risotto recipe* USE it girl! :p

Darn! Tony beat me to the punch!!!!

But all kidding aside, CONGRATS sis! I am happy for you! :D
Between the river, or the kid's working, (they do the shopping and cooking), it's been put on the backburner. But today is sunny and I am pesterful and I hope today is the day to finally try your recipe! I've been wistful long enough, it's time to get this recipe on the burner! :)
haha, you're so cute, Miriam!! Your posts made me giggle. I swear, if I were 20 years younger.... oh, and of a particular persuasion, ...

While drinking coffee this morning I was all happy for you for having received your package, then I went out to drive the ex to the train station (could not let her cycle through this snow storm!), when I read on when I came back I was mortified! Cheers to all the help you got, this is why I love this thread so much! I am glad that horror story had a happy ending!!

Now going back to bed, because 4,5 hours of sleep is just not enough!
Aren't they great!!!! These guys are the best. They saved my pillow from a soaking, let me tell ya.

RiP on his video with pourous wick was proud that he can vape 10sec at 4 o'clock without hot spot. So I just wanna share my Power of the DID video at 12 o'clock ;) of course with mesh wick, 3 months old :)

You captured it!!!! I've tried to capture mine, but couldn't get it to upload. (so nobody but some DIDers believed me) Now I have a slightly different wick, and it's not as long as the other, but still nice. The DID is truely an amazing Atty, and you have the proof right here. Sweeeeet!!

Good tips given this morning! Miriam!!! I so hope you get it unwelded. I'll be pulling for you.

It was a cinch, Jim!! Just a minor problem, that this dumb blond (purple lol) had no idea how to fix. Tony and CloudWizard and Burnie were wonderful. Excellent teamwork!!! I love you all. I love my Poldiac more!!
I love my Poldiac!!! It hits like a beast, looks like the Mona Lisa, and is as dreamy as Heaven. Thank you JIM!!!!

Satin brass shirt and pants, and shiny brass shirt and pants for all tube sizes coming in today!!! Clothes are bought and just have to be worn...I feel like I'm going to play dress up for the Poldiac as if it was a G.I Joe action figure.

Congrats on Uma on the delivery of your Poldiac. What number did you get?

Also I'd like clarification on the whole PolDiD and HyDiD. Am I going to have to start saving my pennies and collecting aluminum cans now, for 2 new mods? I'm not complaining but, just trying to figure it all out. so I can add to my collection.

Was going to post my modest collection of mods from the past 6 weeks but, the picture keeps uploading upside down

Congrats to the new proud owners of the beautiful Poldiac!!

FR, My number is 0162 which adds up to a #9 in numerology which in short means, "The 9 is the most evolved number in Numerology, and is considered one of the strongest because it contains qualities of all other numbers:" I'm not much into Numerology, but I like them apples :)

FR, Oh hey, it's okay! Load the pic upside down, and we'll turn our laptops over. No biggie. :D

Johnson, that's beautiful!! Even at a sideways glance, it's a real beaut!!

Here's a pic of mine taken with a tracphone camera. It's the only one out of 20 or so that came out. I'll try again later with the Gemini attached. (which looks awesome!!!)

The Gemini looks so good on the poldiac it makes me think they were made for each other. My number is 0127.
