anyone got any advise for a Poldiac newb who keeps melting his bottom cap spring. The button is not sticking, but I keep needing to adjust the terminal that touches the bottom of the atomizer to get it to fire. When I do, the spring melts or collapses. Now I am out of springs and need to order new ones. How can I keep this from happening?
Use a plastic screwdriver or disconnect the battery first, dude. If you're using a metal screwdriver and aren't being careful then you're going to bridge the positive terminal screw to the walls of the threaded socket which will cause a short and collapse the spring. I use a metal screwdriver, but I'm careful not to hit the walls of the 510 connection or I unscrew the bottom cap.
