Thanks again Lisa and others who answered me much appreciated.
Where does the ejuice go? Don't I also need cartridges? Now I am really showing my ignorance. I have been watching the utube video's on the GG slim with the maker of it but he doesn't go into this area.
Also is the vapor etc as good in the GG slim as the GG SS?

Cheers,

KT

Hi kattie:)
GGTS works at 3,7 volt too (exept all the other bigger volts) so at 3,7 volt that slim works, it has almost the same smoke as the GGTS.
Slim works with dripping and catridges too but I will make soon an auto feeding system (AFS) for slim so you can smoke without the annoying dripping and catridges for 1/2 day or more.:):)

Thanks so much. Well it took a few hours but I think I have it sorted. It cost close to $400 AUD! BUT I believe I made a good investment from what I can tell with the information & videos I have seen of you and your passion to bring us an amazing product and I like to support that.

By The way do the cartridges need changing very often? Also why is there two atoniser choices that being:
DSE 901 Atomiser - Silver
GG i3 iAtty
Is it just personal preference?
I am getting nicotine based VG liquid which I will flavor myself as I am allergic to PG it seems. How many drops of each normally goes on the cartridges of the slim GG (allowing for personal preference of course). I am trying to get some idea of this. Man so much to know?!

Many Thanks again,

im currently using the i3 atty on my slim. the cartridges are 901 and they hold somewhere around 10 drops but i find myself constantly refilling it in order to maintain that thick fresh taste at which point im adding around 4 drops. I myself dont have a DSE901 atomizer so i cant make a comparison but the i3 atty works great and it was made imeothanisis so i trust that it will last me a very long time and i have no desire to buy the DSE901 and try it. GG products are by far the best on the market and that includes the GG i3 atty

I gave up on using carts a long time ago. You will notice you are going to drip and do away with that filler material in the carts. Notice how you are always adding a few drops to the cart? Why not just drip directly on the atomizer instead? Two drops will get you about the same amount of puffs as an analog cig would. o and the iatties are 901s.

Hiya Katie,

I've sent you an email in response to your order because I think you've ordered a few extra things that you don't need.
There are two choices of atomisers for the slim because I do the standard 901s as well as the i3 which is a custom 901 with specifications from Imeo so that it provides a better vape at 3.7V and also so it can be used on the AFS (but you don't need to worry about that bit.) I see you have ordered both, so see which you like best and buy only that type in future.

As to the filling of carts, they are all pretty standard so it's prolly best if you check out some of the standard 901 cart related threads in other part of the forum, there are a lot of very useful tips there.
You may eventually get fed up with this and just direct drip - most people tend to do this, I think.

When we get your order finalised with the things you definitely need, I'll pop a couple of empty cartomisers in there for you to try also. Many people find them excellent to use on the go with the slim as they require filling less frequently and the flavour can come through nicer on them.

Yep, this hobby is crammed FULL of SO much new stuff to learn, but it's all good. :)

I have to fully agree with "vapnaway", after trying them all. The filler just does NOT feed the attys well, so you end up "dripping" on the carts anyways. Personally I don't like dripping either, I'm lazy. So I'm one of those waiting for the AFS for my GGTS.

For now, the real lazy way is to use cartomizers. They vape real nice at 6 volts for me. I use pre-filled first and then fill them, and use empty ones I bought as well. While advertised as "disposable", it is almost impossible to burn out there well made and designed attys. There is some paper like material that will eventually burn, so don't use em forever. Some have refilled them up to 60 times as an extreme test, I have not gone that far as I have plenty to rotate and try different flavors etc. If you want to try the "carto" route, here is a link to the easy way to refill them. I suggest reading the entire thread to learn as much as you can, and then just try it.

Hi katie, I think we're all sorted out now by email, yes? I removed what you didn't need and refunded the difference as we said.

Don't have a FB account for the business yet, so asking all your questions either here or directly to me via email is the best way currently. A company facebook presence is on the (LONG) to do list though.:D

I am getting to know my GG Slim :D I am finding it and much better with VG instead of PG ejuice.
Thanks very much for your appreciated help Lisa. This is like a whole new world!

By the way how long on average do ati's last people? Also how do you know when you need to change one? Do they just stop working or loose the 'burning/heating' noise when the end button is pushed on the GG Slim?

Thanks again,

ooh good, I am glad you're getting on well with it. :)
hmmm, atty life, it's a bit like asking how long is a piece of string. It depends on the device, the battery and the vaper and how he/she vapes and what kind of juice is used.
Some people get a couple of months and some people get a couple of weeks or less. So hard to say.
Some tail off in performance, some just pop.

Mine usually just tail off rather than popping, when mine start to tail off, I usually wack up the voltage (which you can't do with the slim unfortunately) Then I can get a decent amount of further use out of them. If they tail off again, I then put them in my cleaning pot and they await a clean to see if I can get any more life out of them.

You can check if they are still registering the correct resistance if you have a voltmeter.

Yes I gathered that but thanks for the tips on the anti's anyway Lisa you gave me something to go on.
I enjoy vaping BUT I don't think it likes me?!
I thought it was the PV making my throat that sore it developed olsars and I couldn't swollow for a few days after my first vaping experience as I was in EXTREME pain...but now I am using VG and my throat is acting up again.
I don't think the vapur is doing my throat very good? It seems to burn the back of my throat. I try to vape less and use lower nicotine levels but I still need that 'hit' if I am to stop smoking annalogs completely.
I am dissapointed and think I may need to use Champax again to quit smoking. As it now seems to be the vapour burning the back of my troat and giveing me mouth olsars not so much the PG that just made it worse but I thought it was the PG only not the vaping that did this to me... Problem is now I don't think I will be able to vape even with zero nicotine! :(

Anyone else have 'issues' like this? It is very disappointing not to mention a small investment in $ to find this out now :-(

Peeved off! As I LUV my GG slim,

What type, brand exactly what is the juice you are using? You may need to find some of the PEG juice and try that. Plus pretty much every brand of flavoring also contains PG as a base. Unfortunately there is just no way to avoid that stuff especially if you are that allergic to it. I know you will not have much of a problem selling the Slim in the classified section of the forum if you really think you should stop vaping.

You may want to ask Dawn at the DIYflavorshack.com for some help here. She can help you or steer you in the right direction for this kind of special blending.

Hope you get something that you can use to get you off the analogs. That is a real bummer to hear of stories like this.
