Could be a PG or VG or flavoring allergy, as has been mentioned. Also wondering if you have tried changing atomizers. I've tossed a few atomizers that made my throat burn... presume it was either bad primer in them or they were heating to the wrong temperature (defective). Also once got a throat burn feeling and discovered the battery was leaking, so had to toss both that atomizer and battery.
Sorry about your problem and hope it gets sorted.
Longer vaping time means bigger mah. Can't get big mah in small form factor. If you want longer than 2-3 hours, the GGTS would be your best bet.
Imeo... is it possible to get a new top for my old GG slim? Are they still the same?

Dear Lisa has been a Wonderful help setting me up with my Beloved GG Slim which I adore BUT does NOT adore me sadly!
I am all set up fully kitted out and I can not vape as it causes my throat to olar up. I have only vaped my new GG slim a few days as the vapour not the VG or PG liquid (as I have tried both) burns my throat (Go figure?!!)
Anyway the fact is I can not use my New GG slim which I am TOTALLY peeved at as I LOVE it!

I know...I was just hoping for a small petite unit that can last for a day..the GGs are so pretty. I figured if another supplier can make a small battery unit that last for mucho hours, them Imeo might as well.

Katie, can I help in a way? Why this happens with your throat? Will you stop vaping at all? I say that because if Slim burns your throat then all other e-cigs will do the same
Thanks for the offer. What would REALLY help is if I could return this Beautiful GG Slim and items I purchased from Lisa but Lisa tells me that is not possible so I will help a potential Buyer by giving away all my VG ejuice free as a Thankyou for helping me out of this prediciment.

I have no choice unfortunately. I have tried PG & VG high strength & lower strength even no flavour VG e-juice all makes my throat olsar up. I think it is the vapour that burns my throat not the juices which means ANY vapeing at all I can not do.
I mean lets face it the GG Slim is the best of the best and it still causes me grief to vape with it so I am now on Champiix tablets as I seriously want to stop smoking but unfortunately vaping just burns my throat to much.
There is nothing I can do about it except not vape which sux after I invested so many $ and time learning about it.
Oh well a positive is I meet you guys here.

Have you tried EcoPure?
I use EcoPure Rich and suffer far less now from ulcers. I can still get them if I go overboard with the nic strength or sit vaping for hours on end, but I find it is by far the gentlest of the juices I have tried (including other brand VG flavours).
I revisited a PG juice I have a few days ago (I wanted to use it up because it cost a lot) but the ulcers came back - so I'm back on the EcoPure again.
I don't find the Slim any worse for causing them than a standard e-cig, I think limiting the amount of vaping you do plus sipping water (to dilute any juice in your mouth) helps a great deal. Just my experience, may not work for all.
