Alpine, anyway to make one in .xlr format to open as word spreadsheet. I'm like Elle and can't open it as a .xls. Do I have to download open office? thx so much.

Unfortunately no, it does not seem to let me do that. But there is something else you can try before you go download open office. Go to google and then type in "google documents". Think you need to login (any google login info you have should work) Then simply upload the file and try to open it right there through google documents and hopefully then it will work for you!!

Thanks for the nice calculator, but I'm unsure of something. Every time I enter the top numbers for what strength I'm using and what strength I want it cut down to, the output numbers always add up to greater than 100%, so for it to work you're supposed to manually edit all of the different fields so that they equal 100% exactly. But that's a lot of trouble and I'm not sure if I'm only supposed to lessen the base chemicals (VG and PG) or everything, and I don't know if everything should be lessened by the same percentage or what, and even if that was the case, I probably would have some trouble calculating all of that. So is there any chance we could get a bug fix where it automatically makes it 100% on its own? Thanks :)

Did you post your final formula anywhere? I am looking for a good Newport style vape

I ended up getting some Marbro juice from e-smokeytreas.com and some from freshsmoking.com and adding some menthol drops that I got from juicyliquid.com. Worked out great. Just add about 2 drops menthol pre ml of juice. e-smokeytreats also has a menthol that I tried and that's what I'm using right now. As long as I have the money, that's what I'll do. If I'm tight on money then I'll get a cheeper marbro and add my own menthol. Either way works.

BTW, the 2 drops per ml that I used put me somewhere between Marlboro Menthol and Salem. For Newport, you might want to start out with 1/5 drops per ml or less. I'd start conservitave and add from there. You can always add more, but you can't take it out. The menthol drops are REALLY STRONG and a little goes a long ways. I would mess around with the chrystals, at least not at first. You can't accuriately measure chrystals like you can with drops.

I just started doing my DIY batches with menthol crystals and quickly realized this too, but from now on, I plan on mixing up all of the base liquids then pulling that liquid into a syringe (for easy measurement), then add the menthol crystals in the syringe (capped needle end, plunger taken out) and note the measurement levels before and after adding the crystals. This is the best way I can think of to measure menthol crystal usage, you might it out.

I have created a Hack-O-Matic Sheet that I feel is very, very easy to use. You simply enter your starting liquid to cut, your desired final strength, and your desired batch size. It gives you the amount of cutting fluid to use and you simply adjust the other ratios to equal out to 100%. This sheet was mostly forumulated from the orginal which I think was created from Jaaxx, I simply reverse engineered it to make it a little easier to use (at least I think it is). Let me know what you guys think!

Real nice, and easy to use. Only one change to make. Make is a "read only" file. This will keep someone from saving it after changes were made. Too many changes, and the original data will be lost.
