Well I got mine and, I put it under a magnifying glass, and I do see very small scratches, but I got out my full size Dragon and it has them too, so either I have put these small scratches on my self, (I don't think so, I keep it in a leather sleeve) or they were shipped this way. I think that these are not as finely polished as my other polished ones are. Other than that I can't find it, maybe later I will look again, but I think the small scratches show up in this pic.

We've got it!

As you can imagine, it's a really gorgeous device. After poring over it for an hour, we found one tiny (less than 0.5mm) nick. Perfectly satisfied with that. Mrs Secutorum loves it and is happily vaping away. Now my Gun Metal is my own again!

She had originally stated that I was spending too much on a mod, and that she would never buy one. Well, after I got my Gun Metal, she started stealing it, and basically refused to use her tritons while we were together. My Gun Metal was my own only at work. She began obsessing over the Dragon. When I found the Blems, she could barely contain herself with joy. Now that she has it, it's everythign she hoped for and more. I like when she's super happy like this!!!

She really liked my nautilus tank, so I got her a few to go with her Dragon. She's set now.

Oh, almost forgot, her Dragon:

I believe this is the 1st full-size in 650 I've seen here so far..

ProVape, I know I'm sounding like a broken record at this point, but stop messing around & just sell these things directly to your customers as non-blems & in all 3 LEDs..

Not all of us have access to nearby dealers who carry them & even then, odds are, are gouging on price..

I really want to give you my money.. I think others do, too...

Thanks! :)

You're referring specifically to the Dragon, right? All other devices can be purchased new, non blem as far as I can tell?

We both run ours in 650 mode. I have a few 490s, but those are kept as emergency spares. I know some folks like the smaller form factor when using a full sized in 490 mode, but for me personally, I like the fact that I can vape all day on a single battery. I usually need to swap it out around 10pm and it will last me until 10pm the next day.

The full sized, even in 650 mode was actually smaller than I thought. It's certainly heavier than it looks, but smaller than I thought it would be. It's a good size, and comfortable in my hand. While I wouldn't mind something a bit larger, I'm happily content with it as is. The weight is perfect. But I'm also the guy who hates the fact that smartphones are getting lighter and lighter. They WANT to fly out of my hand and across the room!

Yes, specifically the Dragon..

It's a dealer-only exclusive, where you typically have to buy it in-person from an authorized B&M -- and even then, they'll have limited availability & selection (if they even carry it at all.. not all of them do, as there is a minimum order of 5, which might be a lot of cash for a lot of smaller shops), and odds are at a higher price (I've seen them go for $295 on eBay, and somebody on ProVape's Facebook was quoted as high as $305)...

Obviously there are cases where there are fair prices and/or you don't have to drive 1, 2, 10 hours one way to get one, but those tend to be the exception -- and even then, you're still dealing with limited availability & selection (and perhaps higher prices for those shops closer by)..

I understand ProVape can only produce so many of these at a time these days, due to their nature.. And it was probably tough to accurately gauge demand for something new like this.. But by doing the dealer-only thing, they've made the availability & selection thing that much worse..

Seems like many of those who really want one are ending up "settling," whether it be full-size versus Mini, and/or LED color -- or even a blem (there's been at least one where the blemish appears to be more noticeable than usual, and in a worse-than-usual spot.. I'm sure there are others outside of ECF)..

The Dragon blems only popped up last week, I believe.. Which is helping alleviate some of the issues, anyway.. And perhaps that will help bring some of these prices we've been seeing back in line.. I guess they're trying, probably have a plan in place (clear out some blems before launching a new wave), and is better than nothing...

I know ProVape has a lot going on, especially with the P3 production stuff.. But the Dragon thing probably should be getting more attention for whatever they can do on their end, and opening it up to everybody by selling all non-blem combinations directly from their website.. Hopefully they'll be doing that with a sufficiently-sized 2nd batch soon...

Yes, I know this kind of stuff isn't easy.. But I don't agree with the dealer-only thing at all, from the start...

Plus I'm impatient -- at least for this.. :D

All 3 of mine so far have been full-size with extension caps..

I only use 650 batteries.. The only time a 490 has been in there was to see what it was like, and to see if I could do a Mini with extension..

Maybe someday I'll get that Mini, just to mix things up.. But probably won't be anytime soon..

My Satin Silver Blem arrived yesterday! I simply can not see any difference whatsoever between it and my non-blem. The only difference and one I like, is the power button is firmer (less wiggle) than the non-blem. Otherwise, there are no scratches. It's the same color as far as I can tell. The finish feels the same. I'm VERY pleased with it that's for sure.

Blems only have to do with appearance -- not performance..

Seems like there's a bit of a range of button firmness among even the non-blems..

There's definitely a noticeable difference between my oldest one ("softest" of the 3, but still acceptable/fine) & the one they just repaired (which is now perfect)..

And prior to repair, that thing was way more mushy than the oldest/softest...

Enjoy your 2nd! So when are you getting your 3rd? :D
