The only part of this post I don't understand is the title...the cover of the book is beautiful
Check to make sure that your rhodium post on the button inside the mod is screwed down tight because it should not come out unless that post is unscrewed or slightly unscrewed, that post holds the detent into place so give that a look. And yup it hits great, looks great, hits quick, and kicks a**!2. The locking device is inconspicuous - I pushed it completely out of the housing on my first attempt to lock the button but have since played with it and like the design.
Yea, it came out a couple of weeks ago. I received mine on Monday last week. I didn't exactly need another PV but I'm pretty much a sucker for anything SuperT. What can I say, I like perfection
The new locking button is what really caught my attention as well as the description of the new contact points. I wasn't 100% sure about the new finish since I was in love with the original Precise finish but I wanted to check it out. Well, long story short, I am convinced that the P+500 is just the perfect 3.7V all mechanical PV! The locking button is phenomenal, the new finish has become my favorite so far, it's perfect in size for my hands, and it hits harder than any other all mechanical PV at 3.7V with the same or similar battery that I've tried. And after about 10 days of almost constant use, there is not an ounce of drop in performance without any maintenance or cleaning yet. It really is that good! I can't say enough about it. I know there are probably a lot of people who have heard about the P+ and may never try it. They really don't know what they are missing imo...
Edit: Oh, yea. And what atavanhalen said.
My sentiments are in line with those of Vaporologist. This is my first battery mod, and honestly, this is what vaping should be. Granted, I didn't begin my battery mod adventure with any sort of preconceived expectations of having to baby the battery contacts with a cheese cloth or monitor deposits or anything. I didn't even know that was a thing users of other battery mods had to do. Is it?
All I know is that I'm not particularly careful with it. I don't keep it in its velvet bag. More often than not, when it's not in my hand, it's carelessly sitting on its firing button on a table, or perhaps in my pocket next to a set of keys and a cell phone in an aluminum case. In spite of my sacrilegious neglect, it is absolutely pristine. If I were to send this to someone 6 months from now (not that I would dream of parting with it), I am confident that the recipient could inspect it with a magnifying glass, yet deem it to be just as flawless as the day I received it myself. This is a hardy, reliable, durable anvil of a PV.
And its performance is amazing. Before I got this, I thought a 3.7v power source was a 3.7v power source. How could it not be? The error in my logic is that I didn't take into account the sublime efficiency of the P+. 3.7v at the battery equals 3.7v at the atty with no degradation. No power is lost through weak or tarnished contacts as might be the case with other battery mods. In case you don't speak loser, allow me to put this into more sensual terms. For the first time since I left smoking for vaping, I am catching a buzz if I'm not careful.
My only very minor concern is that this mod might be a little too good for direct dripping. When using a 1.5 ohm atty, sometimes it burns the drips faster than the bridge can wick if I chain vape a few hits. I have to fight the urge to drip more drips when I get that sour metallic taste after a few chain hits. I just plonk the P+ down on the table for a few seconds to give the atty a chance to catch up.
But I would rather it be too good than not good enough. One of these days I'll find a tank or a feeder worthy of the P+. In any case, I am convinced that I have the power plant half of my vaping holy grail figured out.
I am really loving my new Precise Plus 18500 and using a HH357 atty. Geez i need to come up for air though once in awhile. I mean the HH atty works just fine on other 3.7v mods but on the Precise 18500 it is just so right and a powerhouse. Hope everyone else is enjoying theirs as well. David you made another beauty. I just love the finish on this. I do love shiny tube mods but this is sure beautiful. Oh and the button is so easy i hardly have to move my finger. and the locke yeh the locke is so golden man. I just cant say enough. oh i forgot i got the flat top but im wondering should i get the slant accessorie? sure why not.Thanks. and a happy vaping weekend to everyone.
Good morning Rojo! I really appreciate the feedback on your PrecisePlus and it's good to hear it has found a home in the hills of Tennessee![]()

Oh man! I gotta get out more! The PrecisePlus has everything that ever concerned me addressed! I definitely see a P-Plus 18500 in my near future! Great stuff David!![]()
So - after seeing all the comments about the P+ models I had to give one a go. I received my 18350 yesterday.
After opening the package my observations were:
1. It is tiny compared to my SB.
2. The design is functionally sleek, no frills, just a lean clean piece of finely tooled and finely finished SS.
3. The battery fits like a glove, the elimination of excessive tolerance makes the unit as compact as it can get.
2. The locking device is inconspicuous - I pushed it completely out of the housing on my first attempt to lock the button but have since played with it and like the design.
3. The real test - how does it compare to the SB when it comes to cartos and tanks? Every bit as much TH! Hits first time every time.
Kudos to David for his design and craftsmanship.
Thanks to those of you on ECF that have posted your thoughts regarding the P+ products. It made me push that dreaded "Add to Cart" button![]()
Just thought I would post a quick comparison of voltage under load between the two 18350 devices I have on hand. Used the same freshly charged AW IMR 18350 battery and the same 3.3 ohm carto. The GG stealth registered 4.2 volts without a load and 3.8 volts under load. The P+35 registered 4.2 volts without a load and 4.0 volts under load. I'll compare again when I've run the charge down some but initial impression is that the new plated contacts really do make a measurable differance.
I'm glad you are liking the new finish Vaporologist and it's a good time to remind everyone, the Precise comes with a lifetime refinish warranty. So when it starts to show some signs of wear and you want it looking liking new again, send it in with 5.00 for return shipping and we'll bring it back to like new!
David
That's just a standard Boge 2.0. Personally I don't care for dual coils.Nice video, snork!
Which carto are you using there? Thanks.
