I want one of these too, and a T1, looks like I'll be waiting a while unless David ever decides to do an SS 'legacy' range. Might be a nice treat for us Dave? *nudge*
The 10440 has a Rhodium upper top post, the deeper wider juice well and the new finish. It doesn't have the locking button or Rhodium bottom contact as it's bigger brothers do, but i believe it's still the same price as it was without those upgrades, so it's a bargain.
Also, as my CBA III computerized load tester has revealed, the AW ICR 10440 holds voltage under load better and last longer that the IMR 10440 so go that route for a little extra oomph...

It's a sweet thought, but unfortunately, i won't be bringing them back as, even though though the switch mechanism looks the same on the outside, it's not the same and was not dual grounding, so it just doesn't meet the standards for reliability that the new Precise and PrecisePlus have set.

Okay. So the 10440 model being sold right now is not considered a part of the "plus" line, but features all that stuff? I'm trying to figure out what product I should be prepping to pick up.
Edit: also, the site shows them as out of stock
any ideas when they'll be back?

I'd call it the PrecisePlusAndThreeQuarters 10440. I won't have any in stock for quite some time. Cloud9Vaping is the only one with these and HappyVaper should have some next week too.

I'm pretty sure they both ship to the US for pretty reasonable rates

OK, even if I let it go to PP almost-completion it wants to charge me VAT. Looks like it might take some human involvement to get the charge right.
PP may just be the problem. I know I always worry about paying VAT, which makes our taxes seem cheap, when ordering from Europe but as soon as I enter my U.S. address the VAT disappears, but it's probably because I usually pay by CC.

Hi guys, about the VAT, it's a sales tax that is on pretty much everything that is retailed in this country with the exception of some goods for children, some basic foods and milk-products.
I am afraid we are unable to remove it from our pricing for exports unless we can prove to Her Majesty's Customs & Excise that the goods have been permanently exported from the EU. The proof of posting we obtain from the Royal Mail is not regarded as sufficient by them, so, if I deduct it, they could come back to me at any time in the next 6 years and demand back-dated VAT.
You seriously do not mess with the VAT man as he has rights over and above the normal taxation people to enter premises and seize goods.
The other reason for the higher price here is that we have to pay considerable amounts to import them, both in the shipping costs, currency transfer fees, and in the importation duties.
I strongly recommend you remain as patient as you can until David has them back in stock for you over there.
