looks like happyvaper posted up pics of the new P+10?

Photo Details

No, that is not the PrecisePlus 10440, that is the Precise 10440 "enhanced". It has the brass button, not the Rhodium Plated button of the P+ 10440, it does have a rhodium plated top post and the rest of the features of the P+ 10440 though.

I'm curious to see myself what the average will be once they get in the hands of a lot of vapers. Just switching to the AW ICR 10440 battery will give you more hit and vape time then the old IMR 10440 so commonly used previously. Couple the AW battery with the Rhodium Plated button and Rhodium Top post and you'll have one sweet vape on your hands!

Pay no attention to the cat hiding behind the dog avatar! The great and powerful Ladymama has spoken!

Yeah, sadly, I've become a cliche: an old lady with cats. If it wasn't cats, though, it would be some other animal(s).

Great and powerful? Hmmmph! If that were true, I'd already have one of your classy P-10s to take with me for a night out on the town. I've been waiting a year-and-a-half for one. That's longer than some folks have been waiting for the Shockwave. :p lol

Quick question from a guy looking for another durable all mechanical mod. I'm really interested in the p+ 18500, but how do you get the thing to fire? I see the button is on the bottom, so... You use your pinky?

Can I swap batteries to make this 5v or 6v? Right now the all mechanical mod I have is the smaller 14500 variety so I can't unless I only want about 30 min of batt life.

Thanks in advance

I use the inside of the first knuckle of my ring finger to fire the P+ 18500. It took about 30 minutes to get used to, but I really had no problem getting comfortable firing this mod after a few months of only using eGo batteries. It helps some people to have a mindset of pushing the mod down against their finger, rather than pushing the button up into the PV.

The 18500 will only work with 18500/18490 cells. If you want to stack cells for 6v vaping, you'd probably be more interested in the P+18650.

does any one know if you can use clearo tanks etc on the precise plus 18350 slant top without using an adapter

As long as whatever tank you want to use has a 510 connection, no adapter is needed. The atty socket at the top of the P+ is exactly as deep as an atty connector. Your tank will fit just about flush against the top of the mod.

I've posted this before, but it's actually relevant now and not just eye candy. Here's the UFS2 sitting on my slant top P+ 18500:

I need to qualify that and say that with the UFS, one does need a (rare and somewhat hard-to-acquire) UFS -> 510 adapter. But carto tanks should natively fit fine if they have a 510 connection. I just wanted to illustrate the way the bottom of the tank meets the top of the P+ without needing any sort of extender.

strprswpr posted a picture of his P+ 18350 and stainless carto tank setup earlier.

AW IMR 18490 VS AW P18500 (the P designates protected). When i get a chance i'll up the amps to 2.5 amps.

Interesting. I thought the Protected 18500's would have a steeper decline than the IMR 18490's, when in fact it's slightly the opposite. I am very interested to see the results at 2.5 amps. Since I pretty much only low-resistance atomizers, 2.5 amps is more realistic.
