The policy is nothing new - it's been policy for a couple of years that vape gear is prohibited. However eBay's capacity to enforce it has been hit and miss. There may be something new they are doing that is ramping up their ability to enforce it. Just because you did get away with it doesn't mean it still wasn't against the AUP.

If you type ebay into the search box in the upper right of the forum, you'll find over 500 threads from over the years.
No need to be snide bro.. Almost 5,000 feedbacks on eBay, far from a newb. Sold a lot of vape stuff and never got that message.

E-cigs and components are clearly listed in Ebay's prohibited items and have been for years.
