Yeah...

I typed in "RDA" and I only got 21,742 listings.

LOL
I suspect the problem is they’re attempting to police this one in the most very minimal way possible with some vague and not often not quickly updated word search analytics. This is a “solution” with great big holes in it. Any seller can figure out through direct feedback in a matter of minutes which words to avoid. Apparently RDA is not on the list. If there even is a list. I’m not totally sure if this can even BE done right with computer analytics. They’d need AI picture recognition to identify pictures of devices, a large and constantly updated base on analytic terms because the language will shift, possibly very quickly, and both of these are going to have to be tight enough to throw false positives.

I have sold Hundreds and Hundreds (and Hundreds) of things on e-Bay. What I learned Very Quickly is where you can run into Problems is when you make a Listing that has reference to Intent of Use.

So if I List something like an RDA and say it is a "Massive Cloud Chucker" or "This RDA gives you a Great Hit" it might trigger the e-Bay AI to kick my listing out.

But if I just list it with the OEM Make and Model, then things usually aren't a problem.

Because the e-Bay AI does use Lists of words to Filter Non-Approved Listings. But it is a little bit more Sophisticated than just a "Black Word List".

The e-Bay AI looks for word Pairings and Context. So things like RDA + Cloud(s) or RDA + Hit or RDA + e-liquid or RDA + Juice may get triggered.

e-Bay Can't kick out every Listing that has the word "Clouds" or "Juice" in them. That would be Kinda Silly. But it May/Can kick out a listing if the words "Clouds" and or "Juice" are in the description, as well as the letters "RDA".

Or "RTA"

Or "MOD"

Or ...

I avoid eBay and Amazon for ecig product purchases because I don’t trust the quality or safety of the ecig products sold there to begin with. There are other things I’ve been ripped off on with eBay/amazon stuff too. Clothes is a big one. It’s very important to check which seller is selling what. The main problem is clothing sizes and production quality.

The places I do purchase ecig stuff generally don’t even allow PayPal as a payment option.
I never buy vape gear off ebay because like you I don't trust the quality.
I buy vape products from either Australian, New Zealand or reputable Chinese retailers - all of whom take PayPal. On the few occasions I've shopped with US vendors I've noticed they don't have PayPal as an option

The only cool stuff I got off ebay was provape stuff. And now I have enough. My other forays were well, a bit of a disaster.

I kind of think vapes will return (heck, they have already.) I sort of thought that you could buy ANYTIHING off ebay with the right search cuz they kind of put it all on the listers. I mean, I could probably buy a nice second wife off there I have always thought. I haven't done it yet, because if feels so much like giving in. That , plus she'd need to be the right ethnicity to cook the food I like I'm not eating MENUDO every night. That's like buying something to torture you, IMHO.

Please excuse this post I'm not usually a polygamist and a bigot but I'm sick. I realize you can teach ANYONE to cook I mean I taught the KID and he was an adolescent boy. THAT is the second wife I want dang it, the one for the kid. She's not here yet..

Oooh… I could buy her off ebay. With the right search,. I could direct her to mysteriously show up at my son's locations and etc.. I could tell her what he likes, I could make her listen to rap from the beginning... Until now.

This is starting to sound even worse and like a lot of hard work. Plus, it's ebay so she'd probably almost immediately develop cancer or something expensive and they'd be " no returns or exchanges you did not use paypal."

Okay I will stop. Truly. I am horrible.

Fortunately the husband is sick only it's a different kind of sick! I don't want us to infect each other... it may be inevitable.

The initial bans by Paypal, Ebay, Amazon, many merchant accounts were triggered by targeted complaints from several well known ANTZ. If ECF has kept its history there will be threads here about it, I remember when it happened. I remember the scrambling by some small sellers who had to set up their own sites and more scrambling as merchant accounts dropped out and only a few remained willing to do business with vape shops.

Ah yes, here are a few threads...

My reliable vendor list largely for new vapers reluctant to place orders abroad is mostly delisted or defunct.
Legit accessory makers and resellers will be also be harmed by the loss of traffic.
Pathetic political intrusion into personal commerce on the part of eBay.
This is what happens when you give irresponsible children sophisticated dangerous toys.
There ought to be a law.
They're on my sh!!thole list for the duration.

Good luck. :)

This could explain a lot... it is dated the 7th, which shortly after is about the time they started removing all of the product from the e-cigarette and vaping categories leaving them now empty: AG Rutledge calls on eBay to remove e-nicotine devices, products - Talk Business & Politics

I also think it is hysterical that while it has been against their policy forever, they simultaneously had numerous highly active vaping/e-cigarette categories with hundreds of vendors selling an overwhelming selection of product.. lmao That's like a gas station having a tiny sign behind the cash register that says "gasoline is now banned", but they are running 16 pumps outside in front of the store and it's full service (free shipping), plus they have the lowest prices in town.

Yeah, it's new. They did have tons of vape related items listed. I've bought several things from there such as used mods, custom drip tips, and supplies like wire. It was a good resource to find used high end Facebook only mods and some other hard to find things.
I would not say that it's new I would say that the enforcement may have stepped up. It's been their policy for quite a while I don't remember exactly how long, but years, to not sell those devices however I believe they've cracked down on it with recent influences. If you want to have an interesting evening activity and you're into this kind of thing go ahead and look at their policy and then search up products that are against it LOL you can buy human bones on eBay if you look hard enough at least they're presenting themselves as being legitimate specimens as far as I know that's a crime...

The last time I ordered vape supplies on Ebay was a few weeks ago. I ordered a Pico 75W for a cheap price under $20 ($16 I think). It was a fake. The display was skewed and didn't look like the ones on my other Picos. The USB port was charge only and my PC wouldn't handshake for a firmware upgrade. TC mode didn't have the 4 click power adjustment. Ebay issued a full refund. The vendor issued a return credit on my card and instructions to return it to China. I looked up the shipping options and the cheapest was $60.

I'm not spending four times the cost to send it back. If they reverse the refund because I didn't ship it back I'll just chalk it up to experience and never again order ecig hardware products from Ebay.

I made 2 purchases off eBay other than things like Vape bands and accessory type items. One of them was claromizers when I first started vaping and I had a great experience they were well made, no weird taste, they worked like a charm..in fact I still have ones that work 3 years later but to be fair I haven't really been using them. 2cd purchase was commercial coils and while my husband couldn't tell the difference I most certainly could I felt that I was vaping a penny that had mold on it. And seeing as how I wasn't using Penny mold flavor Vape juice that was quite alarming. I ended up just giving them to my husband because shipping them back would have cost more than I paid for them even though it was an American seller. I think it's a pretty common thing. Let me clarify the reason why it cost more as they were demanding that I ship it a certain way it was some sort of priority Packaging that would get it back in 2 days from Florida to Washington so it would have been something like $18 for the coils I paid $9.58

I use paypal to buy all my mods and vape related gear. Never had any issues with paypal. I use it because its safer to get your money back when things go wrong. Selling vape products on ebay has been against policy for years now...

I use Paypal for just about everything ecig related. The rest I usually order through Amazon. A Prime account is worth it if you use it enough to balance the shipping costs vs a per ship charge. I can't remember a time when Amazon didn't have what I wanted.

I think I remember something about that being legal in some states under certain conditions such as being extremely old (like neanderthal remains) for collecting purposes or for research. But in general human remains are not legal to sell/trade.

The difference here is that I don't think they have a category specifically for human remains, but with vape products they do. Even though vape products are not supposed to be on there. This makes it quite confusing as to why the vape category on eBay even exists, and leads people to believe that they are an item that is allowed.

I think that I have heard that there are certain ages of bones that are grandfathered in once they decided that eating mummies and selling human remains was not what we wanted to do here LOL used to be a prominent business from my understanding that eating mummies thing. Anyhow yeah I do get your point that if a product is not supposed to be on a site why would it be categorized they certainly don't have corpse as a category
