The seams between all of the tubes are virtually imperceptible. I got the matte/brushed finish.

That's WHY the seams are virtually imperceptible.

In contrast, my two polished Nemesis' have a very visible seam between the tubes.

The polishing process causes that. Pretty much every polished mod I've see has that characteristic. The buffer surface pressure is released at the edge, overhangs the edge, and works it harder, causing more wear around the edges. Only way I can think of avoiding that would be to polish all tubes assembled (but you'd still have a top and bottom edge, so you'd see a seam at the atty/top cap connection).

Trying to find 17mm tank atomizers for this now, but am having a hard time.

I'm using the IGO-S with 17mm Cap-It-All. Looks decent for now, until Atmomixani release a Nemi atty. The brushing on the cap isn't quite the same as the Nemi, but blends better than a polished atty would.

Yeah, I get that. I've done a lot of polishing in the past. It was sort of a curiosity to me as to why Atmomixani didn't polish their tubes assembled as well, to avoid that visible seam, as the edges end up getting rolled in.

Just ordered the Arrow from VapeRev. Polished... not ideal, but... it'll work! :D

Nice, thanks for the head's up. I don't know why I totally missed that. I think it's because I was only looking at the brushed version. As a device that I'm planning on taking out and about, I don't prefer polished devices, as scratches become much more visible on them. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. It's on sale right now too, so that's a bonus in my eyes.

I was looking at those devices as well... I'm still quite unfamiliar with all of them. How do you like them, and which would you say are the best? (including the Arrow, if you've tried it before.)

You could brush the arrow when you get it...

I am in the same boat. I just prefer the brushed look.

I love all 4 of them actually but, for different reasons.
- Spheroid and Steam Machine VST - both use filler for the liquid, both are bottom build, both produce excellent vapor and flavor and do so without leaking
- Steam Machine dripper - its a solid dripper. Easy to build (uses a ceramic cup like the diver/killer/penelope/etc.)
- Kayfun Mini - its a kayfun so, good performance and not leaky

I have actually not used the arrow before so, i cant comment on that one. I have heard good things though.

Just got my 3D today. Had 30 minutes to toy with it before going to work, 10 hour shift, not good :p.

Well I finally got home and started watching some videos. Right off the bat, my poor fingers got superficial cuts because of the heat sink. I didn't realize the sharpness of the heat sink until it was late . On top of that, I ran out of my usual 26g nichrome and 28g kanthal that I use, so I was forced to do a build with 24g kanthal. So a 10 wrap micro coil, have no idea what the ohms are, but it feels at around .5-.6 ohms.

I tried putting pluid in it, bad idea. It swells the o-rings. After thinking I had done something to the spring, I washed it clean and added a bit of another ejuice to the pump o-ring, back to perfection. It hits hard, really hard. Very nice throat hit, and mouthwatering flavor, I love the airhole sizes as I'm not that big of a lung hitting fan. Unit is built solid, looks extremely sexy on the Nemesis, and vapes like a dream. After realizing that I could just flood the chamber, and give it a couple of pumps to suck the liquid into the reservoir, that was another great surprise. The concept is great, the execution was great, and the end result was perfect. Being the first RDA of its class, I think this is a win win epic creation. Once vaperev (hopefully) gets some of its accessories, I'm stocking up on them just in case. All in all, I'm, as you can tell, as happy as you can be.

Forgot to ask but I was cleaning my polished Nemesis this morning and the black delrin piece came off the switch. It won't press back into the brass part of the switch, meaning it won't hold in place and now the switch doesn't work right...... Does it need to be pressed into place or does it stay by another way?

Before I put it all in a vise to try and press it in I wanted to ask someone that might have the right answer. I went to VapeRev today and their new delrin piece does the same thing.

Why is there no brushed brass flat upper cap available for the Nemesis? There's stainless polished or brushed, and brass polished only. Was that something I missed out on a long time ago? I have the mixed-matte edition, and need a brushed cap. No, I won't do it myself - never done that before and chances of it looking good are slim. :p

Hi! Lol, it's taken me 2 days to get through all 54 pages of this thread...now I've got to go back and watch the videos!
I gotta say the customer support I've seen here is awesome. Got a first hand taste of it last night/this morning when I managed to screw up my order and hit the back button on my browser when Viva didn't take my payment. They still took my monies but my order was canceled. Katerina fixed me right up and shipped my new shiny very quickly. Naval Brass 69!
I actually got a little panicked thinking they might sell out but as of tonight they're still showing in stock.
Also have a kalafan coming that I just got in trade so next week should be awesome for Vapemail!
I got the Mixed Greek from VR a week or so ago as my first Nemesis and I gotta say I'm hooked. Just wish I'd went with Atmo before I got all into the Zens. I can definitely see the quality difference!
Pictures will come soon as I get the family all together :D
Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself and say thanks Kat!!
