I completely agree with you. One of my favorite historical quotes comes from Albert Einstein who said, "Anyone of average intelligence is capable of learning and doing anything". I may have paraphrased it but I find this encouraging. As long as, god forbid, you are not mentally challenged in some way, you have a fully functioning mind, you can learn anything if you put your mind to work on it (th ehuman brain is a marvel). Some people may be natively more skilled for the task, it just may take you a bit more exposure to it.

I'm quoting kellie here not to single her out by any means... but to single out what she SAID that I've seen others post over and over.

[soapbox]
Rebuilding these or any others... is a skill that must be learned, it isn't an art, The only way to get good at it is through practice and persistance. Many times, when learning a skill we will feel clumsy and we need to know that is natural and doesn't mean we aren't good at it, just that we don't have the experience we need yet. I believe everyone can learn any skill if they have an interest and choose to take the time.

Learning any skill will also help develop you in other areas that can make learning other new but similar skills even easier to pick up over time. This is why having a hobby is also so important, it helps us develop new skills in an area that we already have an interest in. The more skills you learn... the easier it then becomes to learn other new skills. Expanding our skill sets also has a positive impact on our jobs, making us more valuable in the job market.

I guess that there is one other thing to bring up... Don't fool yourself by saying you aren't good at something simply because you may have no interest in it... There is no reason to cut yourself down and say you are not good at it if it is really just because you have no interest. It is perfectly fine if you aren't interested in something... there are plenty of other skills out there and you don't have to put yourself down for not liking one of them just to give yourself and excuse to not perform a particular skill.

Always let your interests drive yourself to learn new skills.. if you feel clumsy at first, just know that it will pass as you develop experience with it.

I'll ask smok if they can't include those...its an excellent idea...I think they just had a mindset of 'coil/wick' ....

We have a few more loose ends on some orders coming to us, I'll see if he can't throw us in a bag of those to give away with each one ordered...(not a bag but an extra one :)

Just curious why the ceramic cups are not included with the replacement wicks?

Psssttt... I think you missed the part of the quote where he went on to say, "except Republicans."

Ok. So I'm brain dead, cant see anything in front of me without glasses, and my fingers resemble a toddler using chopsticks for the first time.

I dove in and ordered one of these drunkards (and a Octopus)..so let's hit Jack Black, and wrap some coils...

And the difference between the Drunkard and the Splitfire is ???????

The way averages work, Einstein may have made a joke, considering that it is possible for more than 50% of people to be below average intelligence. It could be 80% of people... Just saying.... :p

I think the thrust of what he said is that you have a normal working brain, aren't mentally ......ed, something like that...

First impression of the Drunkard..Not bad...
Right out of the gate, the Silica rope was swapped out with Peaches and Cream:

The Cotton requires a little breaking in for full flavor to develop, but all in all, not a bad vape..

I would love to find the factory Silica rope sold somewhere however...I'm guessing it has to be 5mm...Going to try it in a T3 head...

Oh, I'm glad to see this post, Zippersnapper, as I'd planned to use the same setup.

So. Is getting the P and C through the wee holes really a major pain the ...? I'm pretty good at wrapping coils at this point, but those holes . . . hmmm.

I used to fight getting those wicks into the hole myself, especially with the Splitfires. I now use the needle tip tweezers:

Simply grab the end of your wick with these and cram it down the hole, pulling through the other end using the same. When you cut your wick, cut an extra inch or so, and trim to fit with nail clippers. It's a breeze this way. If you don't have a set of needle tweezers, fashion one out of whatever you can get your hands on, by putting it on a grinding wheel....
