A special thanks for coming by the shop today Nate! :)
It was great to see you and the family today my friend,
I hope you guys had a great dinner and a safe drive home,
J.

Oh Man the Drive home was much faster than the drive up. I really hope that whoever that was in that car is okay after that mess.

It was so great to see you and the Family today my Friend. I really needed the visit after this past week. I got the Ithaka all set up with a single coil at 1.1 ohms. Still trying to figure out exactly where I need the juice control at though. I keep getting dry hits and did flood it once LMAO Just like with the Ody, it takes some time to get it down pat :D But I gotta say it does vape amazing when the wick is good and wet :D I think once I vape this tank I will try and set it up with dual wicks and see how that works :D I think one coil on two wicks would definitely be much better or even a dual coil set up with some 32 AWG for a good 1.5 ohm or slightly less dual coil set up :D

It does look really really nice on the Poldiac though :D:D

Dinner could not happen at El Ranchito's because it was standing room only there and quite a few people standing outside as well :( But we did get some Mexican Food here once we got back at Cojitas up the road from the house. Not Nearly as good as El Ranchito's but definitely a close second :D

Hope you are having a great night my Friend and thank you again for everything Brother,
Sincerely;
Nate and the Fam

Good morning Nate,
Glad you made it home safely. :) Too bad about El Ranchito, yeah Saturday evenings in Laguna can get a little hectic at the restaurants.
How did you set the Ithaka up bro? You used two wicks right?
J.

Good morning my Friend :D

Initially I set it up with a single wick and coil and quickly realized that even with a single coil I probably should fill the second wick channel with a wick regardless. After I cleaned everything up from the mess it made :facepalm: I went ahead and coiled two wicks with 32 awg for 2 Ohms each and now have a very nicely working 1.0 ohm dual coil, dual wick set up on it and not a drop out of the bottom :D I also made sure to take the 510/air control cap off too before setting everything up and put that on after I built and set the ceramic housing with coils. It makes for a better seal at the bottom of the GGTS connector which is the important thing to make sure has a good seal. I also split the built in juice feeder slit half and half over both wick channels for optimum even juice flow over both wicks. Even with that open all the time it still does not flood even a little.

I have it filled with the Blueberry Chill and WOW that stuff is awesome in this thing Brother :D

Hoping you are having a great start to your morning my Friend :D
Sincerely;
Nate

:laugh::laugh: Nice buddy!
Yes, remember that photo I posted on FB? Both wick channels need to be filled. you can do duals, but if you don't want a huge throat hit, You can make one coil with two wicks and then put in an X configuration. Both work very nice. :)
You can also turn the center post to a point where you can completely shut off the liquid flow with the mouth-piece.
What I love about the Ithaka if the sheer number of variations you can do with it.
It looks great on the Poldi too bud!
I hope you have a great Cinco De Mayo!
J.

Yeah I am thinking the next build will definitely be a single coil with the coil wick laid first then the secondary wick laid over the top for optimum juice usage :D That way the heat applied is under the second wick so it can be heated more efficiently:D It's a theory anyways LMAO. Right now I am very thankful this has the air control ring on it because I can now place it completely flush with the Poldiac and still have ample air flow with a hybrid look :D So I have to say ultimately IMEO has definitely kept his end of the bargain on this device. He improved upon an already great design with the Odysseus.

Just check the RSST Brother and Amazing work my Friend. It is working flawlessly without even a telltale sign of seepage much less any leaks :D Thank you so much for helping me out with that bugger :D The Southern Comfort is truly a very very rich and tasty juice as well Brother. The Mark T Loves it :D For a darker liquid I am very surprised at the lack of coil and wick gunk it leaves behind, almost nothing on it after vaping it exclusively in the Mark T since yesterday.

Happy Cinco De Mayo to you as well my Friend :D We have a lot of leftovers from dinner last night too :D

Sincerely;
Nate

I have got to agree with ya there my Friend, This thing is seriously versatile :D Just took it down again because I forgot to fully wash it out prior to building it last night LMAO :facepalm: so I gave it a really good bath and went ahead and built it with a single coil with an extra wick going over the top of the coil :D It is really Putting out Plumes now :D

My Very First Vape Face Photo :D Ithaka with 0.9 ohm coil on the Poldiac with 2 3mm wicks :D

Can't wait until Donna and Jack get here for BBQ :D We are gonna build some coils and do maintenance on some mods and probably make some juices and such as well :D And of course eat much food :D

Hope your day is going very relaxing my Friend :D
Sincerely;
Nate

Oh, you have got to show them the new set-up! it is awesome!
You always have the cutting edge of mods, :0
J.

Hehehe Jack Loved the Ithaka, too bad the juice was 18mg, way too high for him. That was a lot of fun :D We ate, we sat and shot the breeze, he picked himself up a satin Gemini and was having some issues getting it set up and vaping good so we sat down and went through how I set mine up to get the most out of it and still be able to keep the fill screw in so I don't lose it :D

All in All we had a great time and some serious laughs too. Only bad part is how bad my toe is going to hurt tomorrow because The Admiral slammed into it with her shoe and ripped the nail on my big toe back half way up my toe :(

I am off to bed for a very early morning my Friend, Here's wishing you a great week my Friend :D
Sincerely;
Nate

Hope your day is going amazing my Friend, it is like living under a super soaker here;
Sincerely;
Nate

YooHoo Nate, a three day weekend! :)
It would have been nice if someone would have told you, I'm sure. :laugh:
I hope you have a great day bud, gives you an extra day for that toe to heal up too.
J.

Heck yeah Brother, I just wish they had said something before hand because then I would not have driven all the way out there just to get turned around and sent home an hour or two later LMAO.

Good news is that the parts for the Poldiac are out for delivery which is great because then i can set up the second one today and take it out with me tomorrow :D I am very excited about this stuff coming in :D I just hope I do not miss it because it is Signature required LOL

That looks freaking awesome bro! :thumbs:
I really like it, and the price is unbeatable, since you had most everything already!
J.

Thank you very much my Friend :D It really was the best way for me to get two for the least amount of overhead cost. Only about 100 bucks and bang another full Poldiac to house the Gemini, This one gets to keep the Gemini due to the line up of the air hole with the button and the MM Vapors Logo's also line up on the other side :D

I am off to bed for another early wake up call my Friend :D
Have a great evening and rest well Brother;
Sincerely;
Nate

I hope you got some good rest last night bud. :)
The new Poldi looks great with the Gemini. that very cool how everything line up too.
I love it when a plan comes together. :laugh:
J.

Good Morning my Friend :D

I got a little rest last night, had a little trouble getting to sleep. But all is good, I am awake now and about ready to head out the door for training. Hopefully we get some good stuff done today with this. Another refresher so that is good because as te week goes on things start to come back which is why we do this :D

I agree, I like the small form factor and the way it looks nice and balanced with the Gemini. It has brand new contacts in that switch too so I have to say clean new contacts does make a bit of a difference in the strength of the power transfer. It hits HARD LOL

Hope you have a great day today my Friend and talk to ya soon;
Sincerely;
Nate
