Topside was a little cheaper a while back on fasttech, when the MAP code worked.

Don't know much about the Blitz Vigor, but that is under $45. But also there is the unusual but decent Smoant Battlestar Squonker kit at around $48, and that's your basic DTL kit.

Any opinions in the Wismec LUXOTIC MF (with screen)?

eleaf pico Squeeze 2 is an excellent single cell squonker. The last one I bought was $20 something and that was the kit that came with a decent single coil rda and a good 21700 battery. I’m sure you could find a kit pretty close to that price and you’ll be ready to go with everything you need.

Are there any bad points to the wismec luxotic bf mod? It's showing up on clearance at a few places, due to the luxotic surface being released.

I know it's unregulated but has protection. And uses proprietary bottles. Just not sure if it leaks like a sieve or not

I use mine all the tine, no leaks. It is a small heavy hitter. I recommend trying it. Unless you want the kit with the rda, here is just the mod:

Yeah. Went back when I saw it wasn't with it. They told me the box listed what it came with, which it doesn't. So I went back with the box and the website, which does list the extra bottle, and was told the first run didn't have it. To which I mentioned the thread here, about missing bottles, and was told all sales are "as is."

For MTL setups on a squonker, I use and like the following MTL RDAs on my squonk mods: Vapefly Galaxies, Digiflavor Etna, Cthulhu 1928, Ambition Mods Spiral RDA, and the VandyVape Berserker. Of these, I'd rank the Galaxies and 1928 slightly higher than the others.

Also, the Holic (mentioned above by Mordacai) looks good -- I haven't tried it, but it seems like an updated version of the Galaxies deck/airflow and is next on my list to try out (it seems efun.top has them for 14.99, so I'm going to order one or two now).

Hey, I have/will have all but one of those, even the Holic (no Spiral). I must remember to give myself a nod of approval for having done my homework.

Would have been easier for them to say they misread the label or something instead of lying. Also, their RSQ squonk seems to be priced higher than anyone online.

That’s some lousy customer service right there. Very unprofessional. They should have apologized and given a full refund. And to be so rude, to boot. Places like that, accusing customers of hurting their business, put themselves out of business being childish and petulant.

I read the reviews of the place on google maps, a handful of customers reported being belittled and talked about in front of other customers from the owner and employees. In my opinion, whatever negative review they received from @HigherStateD they deserved.

I wasn't looking for a refund... He could have thrown me a bottle of juice and I'd have been more than happy. It's the immediate jump to defence that gets me. Shoulda known better when I asked about a bf rta... Pimply faced kid was like, what's the point? They're all dna Go fanatics, too.

Don't trust reviewers. They are very misleading and cause a lot of unnecessary confusion or drama.

You've got to find the right reviewers, both written and video, and learn their language. Some won't say anything bad, some will come out and tell it like it is and some word the bad stuff in ways that seem ok until you really read them or watch the video over and over.

I understand that. But just understanding how a particular reviewer is excluding information, being dishonest, or avoiding certain topics doesn't make them trustworthy. They only offer tidbits of info and almost never use a product long enough to actually find any less than obvious flaws. This stands true to YouTubers more than forum based reviewers though.

My statement was more meant to say to take their opinions lightly and not to treat what you hear on YouTube as gospel as their reviews are more or less just overviews, first impressions, and unboxings and less of an in depth user review.

There are opinions, and there are facts. I don’t care what their opinions are, I watch reviews for the specs. I don’t care at all who thinks purple atties are ugly. I do care if it’s a 22 or 24mm.

That said, some of them like things I don’t, and others have similar tastes, just like members of the forum, so I know if certain people like a product I probably will, as well.

And some I watch because they’re so darned amusing, even if I don’t always agree with them

I see and agree. I only watch YouTube to learn how to build a particular rda for my squonks, forget most reviewers. I guess I meant written reviews in my reply.
