@kayuuelbee, have you checked the manufacturer's suggested percentages? Sometimes a manufacturer recommends 2% or 20% for a particular flavor, make sure you follow those guidelines. Also custard is a flavor that needs some serious steep time, have you given the juice a hot water bath, or run it through an ultrasonic cleaner? Sometimes those methods help with immediate testing, instead of waiting 2 weeks.

I have tried 3 or 4 Inawera flavors and they do not work for me. At a very ow percentage around 1% I got some flavor from the Inawera Shisha Strawberry. At 3% id did not increase and I just got some chemical tastes.
I prefer Capella, Flavor Art and Flavor west so far.
The Flavor Apprentice sweet strawberry works but has a chemical taste I do not like.

The most bassacward thing that took me longest time to figure out was that too much flavoring can lead to little to no flavor.

So I wrote a blog about flavoring levels so others could learn from my hardheadedness and posted it on ECF.
tried again with 3% strawberry and 17% custard, recommended for custard was 20%, gave it a good shake and a hot bath, getting a really muted strawberry and nothing else :(
anyone here have any experience with getting good flavour from inawera?

edit: you reckon i shoudl leave it for a few weeks and see how it is even if im getting little to nothing right now?

A friend on here mixes up Inawera Shisha Strawberry at close to 25% I think... Sorry Andria If I got that wrong...
I got some and tried it but could not handle the artificial taste. I have the bitter gene and am a bit of a super taster too. A curse....

25%?! The recommended is 3! I mean I'll give it a shot bc nothing else is working but are recommended percentages really that off?!

Only for some people. I mix really weak compared to commercial juice and most people's recipes. I usually cut a recipe by 1/3 on the flavoring strengths and go from there.
You got little to loose by increasing the flavoring strength. One thing to note is that it should get stronger with time and if it tastes good right away it might become too strong in a couple of weeks.

I've heard adding too much flavour can yield the same effect as adding none though
