Hello all! I just recently tried Logic Black and while I like the vapor aspect and nicotine delivery, I could do without the faint lavender taste and smell as well as the unrealistic look. I go out for smoke breaks at work and do not want to draw extra attention by smoking a black metal pipe while out there. I've seen people recommend Volt for it's realism, but is there anything else out there that would be good quality that also has white cartridges so that the overall look is consistent like a cigarette? As far as flavors, i'd prefer a natural tobacco taste, but am open to try different ones- just nothing floral or menthol. thanks in advance!

Well I would recommend the eroll they come in black and white and it's actually the exact same size as a cig. It charges via a portable charge case that looks identical to a smaller iPhone. It works great, it uses a ego-c atomizer with a tank cartridge. The only draw back is the cartridges only hold .5ml of juice. So you will have to bring multiple cartridges with you to work and what not or a small
Bottle of juice with you. Other then that, it works great. Check out YouTube for a review on the eroll

here is a great review on it

the eroll is one of the better cig like ecigs on the market. it isnt cheap at $50-$60 but it does work well. i have one and i am not a beginner. i use it for going out sometimes or around the house or at work. just you may have to start at a higher nic level because it doesnt give outstanding throat hit however, some people arent a fan of throat hit anyway. i would start at 24mg and work down. if 24 is too high try 18 or 12.

If you dont like the Volt or smokeles image, I also recommend Vapor for Life.

They have a wide range of flavors in prefilled cartomizers.

If you find one you like, get a bottle of juice and start refilling them yourself. A cartomizer can be refilled 15-20 times before you need to toss it.

Cartomizers should not cost you more than $2 a piece.

Hm... you could try the NJoy. They're working pretty hard to imitate the "real thing". And the ones I tried, they get pretty close. The things even "feel like" a cig.

The entire category of "cig-a-likes" don't get much love around here. And I can't say I like them myself. I started with Blu only to find out their batteries last about five minutes and their cartridges end up costing as much as cigs. Some folk do like them though for a "cigarette like" vape. I still do like Blu's take on tobacco (their "classic tobacco" which you can pick up in a disposable to try). Spent a while trying to find something close to it (their formula is proprietary and though Johnson Creek makes it for Blu, they can't sell it to anyone else).

Myself, I think NJoy got the closest to being "cig like". If that's important to you, you could give them a try. They have disposables available most places Blu has gotten into. You can probably find them in a store near you. Try them out, see what you think.

I don't know how much a "dollar" is, but $19.99 for 5 cartomizers is a disgrace.

0.65 sterling right now.

And, yeah, Logic is more pricey than Blu. That's... impressive? Blu runs about $9.60 for a five pack if you order four packs or more at a time. Which is still high...

Hi! I'm semi new to vaping, too. It was weird to smoke a metal pipe at first, but that's all I smoke now. I really enjoy how I don't smell like smoke when I walk in from smoking outside somewhere. I like when I can smell my clean hair, free of smoke! I hope you will like vaping. They've also got little pipes that are light weight - eroll. That's pretty cool - it sort of feels like a real cig.

If you limit yourself to the cigarette form factor you are going to have to accept a sub-par experience (vapor production, battery life, and e-juice capacity) and much higher vaping costs.

I have never been a fan of cartomizers. I like tanks. A good one won't leak if handled properly and they make so much more and better vapor, IMHO.

Personally, I PREFER to not be seen as smoking, so my Inferno, Lavatube, or eVic (with either a Vision vivi nova tank or Kangertech protank on it) works for me. Anyone questions you, smile and say you are quitting smoking and vaping water vapor with a little nicotine instead.

I recently got a blu, I find it pretty realistic looking (except I got black, they do come in white/tan). However it's not as cheap as I expected. They say each cartridge is about a pack and a half, which should last me 2 days or so, but I will go through two a day. It's not that they stop producing vapor, but they just lose flavor and get a burnt taste. It's no longer enjoyable and I move to a new cartridge. They're $15 for 5, so that's $6 a day, still a few less than a pack of cigarettes but not the savings I expected. For now I smoke about 2 cigarettes a day and the blu in between and that seems to work on keeping costs down all around.

I am researching though. I plan to move to a tank setup soon, but I do feel a little awkward about it. I already worry about the ecig in public, having someone think it's drugs, and the tanks are even more conspicuous. So I'll probably keep my blu around for certain situations.

That's pretty much the same situation I had with Blu too. Then I switched to my ego C and I haven't looked back haha. Way cheaper and more efficient. I haven't had too much trouble with people thinking they're drugs. Where have you been vaping haha?

Meh. Just live in an area with a lot of drug use and a lot of bored cops. They harass us about everything. I'm enough of a magnet being covered in tattoos, and we all know, tattoos = drug use! [/sarcasm] I just worry getting into the tank setups that a bored cop will want to inspect it, and end up taking it or breaking it.

I feel like the blu is inconspicuous but still find myself lowering it when I drive by a cop. Which honestly probably makes me look like I AM doing something wrong.
