I ordered the Joye 510 starter kit from Health Cabin. I ordered last Sunday and still haven't received it yet. I ordered from them because I saw someone mention it on You Tube.

From what I am reading, this starter kit isn't going to be enough supplies. I'm not sure what else I should order. Looks like I'm going to need extra supplies right off the bat when I get my starter kit. I'm gonna need faster shipping for my next order so that I don't run out, so I'll look for somewhere else to get more supplies. I have no idea where to order or what I'm going to need. :?:

Currently, I smoke half a pack a day of Marlboro Ultra Light 100's. I can't handle anything stronger than that. My brother smokes Marlboros in the red pack and those are WAY too strong for me!

I don't smoke in my house or car, so these e-cigs will be nice because I won't have to leave my desk to go outside to smoke. I work at home and I think I will be much more productive without the outside smoke breaks!

What do I need to order next? I will need faster shipping and I want to try some flavors. Since I only smoke half a pack a day of very light cigarettes, should I go with low nicotine? Also who has the best prices and faster shipping?

Sorry for all the questions. I am lost. I want to give up regular cigarettes and hopefully save some money too.

Welcome!! Health Cabin usually takes about 5-7 days to get to me. You will need extra juice! If they send cartridges, they usually don't taste very good! Personally I love the HV juice at NHaler. It is 12mg but it is really flavorful!! I am now hooked on black cow which is root beer and cho ice cream!! Dawn at DIYsmokeshack is also excellent.
Good Luck...vaping is wonderful!!! :)

Personally, I would go with lower nicotine carts if I were you. If marlboro reds are too strong, it would be a wise choice. From what I've seen on these forums, it looks like you're going to need at least 2 attys and batts, more would be better (atty's burn out in a couple months), and once you get your kit, you should buy new carts or liquid to avoid running out.

My suggestions would be, get at least 2 extra atomizers (You can get 5 packs for around $40) and 2 extra batteries (you can get 5 packs for around $50).
Also get a Passthrough, great for vaping at your computer or in your car (saves batteries) and also a Personal Charging Case (PCC), great for on-the-go charging (always have 1 battery in the PCC and 1 that you are using. That way you are never without a charged battery).
I would also suggest getting a Sampler Pack of liquids. That way you can try different flavors till you find the ones you like.
Since you say you smoked Ultra Lights I would suggest vaping around 9-11mg nicotine.
Buy juice at 18mg, cut it in half with PG/VG, then adjust your mix values up or down till you find a strength that works for you.

Or you can go to Cignot. They carry 510 and accessories. If you like coffee, try their cappuccino.

Don't forget to 'line up' your cartridge. If you don't know what that means;
1. Pull the cartridge off the atomizer.
2. Look down in the atomizer.
3. There are two little bitty whte circles down there--these are insulators.
4. Now, you see this letter O
5. Now, you see this number 0
six. the bottom of the cartridge looks like the zero 0.
7. You want the two little bitty white circles to fit at the top of the 0 and at the bottom.

This will keep that hot atomizer from melting the bottom of the cartridge.

Thank you everyone for the information.

What is PG/VG? I took the advice and just ordered a few sample bottles with 12mg. Sounds like maybe I could cut that down to start off with?

I will order some extra atomizers and batteries too. I noticed the starter kit comes with 2 of each.

PG is Propylene Glycol. VG is Vegetable Glycerin. The Nicotine Juice you buy is basically a PG or VG base with nicotine (and sometimes flavoring) added. People use plain PG/VG to cut down the strength of their Juice.
A Passthrough is a device that you attach your atomizer to and plug into the USB port on your computer. It replaces your battery as a power source.

What can you use to charge them when you are away from the computer and need the batteries charged up in the car?

(I had to remove your links since I am new and it won't let me post links) Thanks for those!

I totally agree with everything pyrate says. Extra batts and attys are a must for the 510. The passthrough (PT) is a god-send for those working on computers. There are also adapters that plug into a wall-outlet (mains) that have a USB jack that allows you to run the PT off the mains. The PCC will allow you to be out and about with your 510 for a good 17 hours before you need to recharge everything.

Getting a variety of flavors at different strengths will give you an idea of what you like flavorwise and what nic strength works for you. For AM with breakfast I like 18 mg. For normal work time 14 mg. For winding down before bed 10-12 mg or less. But this is not to say these are the numbers you will use!

In the first couple weeks its generally good to keep the nic on the high end in order to really beat back the analog cravings. Be patient: quitting them entirely may take weeks. I am down to about 4 analogs a week, after about 7 weeks vaping. I was a pack a day Winston Light smoker.

And of course, get on this board and read read read. Perhaps you will want to get high-nic unflavored juice and make up your own flavors. In the long run this is certianly cheaper, but requires some additional hardware and liquid purchases: bottles, maybe syringes, tool box, etc.

I like to use a flashdrive case for my away-from-home supplies:

Micro Center - Compact Portable Hard Drive Case

Its $15 on their website, but I think I payed $7 in the store. Its designed to hold 6 flashdrives. Zips up to about the size of a large wallet, fits easily in a packpack or even a cargo pants pocket. I have in mine right now: 6 x 6-mL dropper bottles of flavored juices, 1 10-mL dropper bottle of 24 mg unflavored, 3 regular 510 batts, 3 mega 510 batts (longer and last ~2x a regular), a 3 mL syringe, 2 filled carts, 2 attys, and a micro-screwdriver for breaking those air bubbles when filling carts. That's a LOT of gear for out and about, and all in one little case. The PCC also goes in my bookbag. If I had to, I could be completely fine for a couple days without charging or needing juice.

The mega batts, available at Totally Wicked, are a good deal, and even better when they are on sale. I don't use my PCC a lot anymore because 3 mega batts will last me all day without recharge.

Have fun! I suggest playing around with what you have, taking gear out with you, and take a little time to figure out what you will need exactly for your daily needs given your routine.

Health Cabin has a AC-USB adapter that you plug into your cars cigarette/power outlet

Car -USB charger(no USB Charger) - $4.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

Just plug that into your cars outlet, plug in the USB/Mini USB cord that comes with the PCC, then plug in your PCC. (*note- a PCC carries enough of a charge to recharge your 510 battery to full 4 times)

They also have a USB battery charger that plugs into any USB port and charges 1 battery
http://www.healthcabin.net/usb-charger-with-cord-for-joye510-product-7306.html

You can also plug in the Passthrough to that adapter

You are all so helpful! Thank you!

I ordered a starter kit from Health Cabin a week and half ago and still haven't received it. When I do a search on the EMS website, it shows that it left China a week and a half ago! There is nothing else listed! Now I am thinking that maybe I should order somewhere else? I don't know what to do. I hate to spend the money for another starter kit, but now it looks like I'm not gonna get this one anytime soon. So bummed out waiting for this shipment.
