New to vaping...New to ECF...analog bye bye!

Fellow vapers,

For my first post I figured I better start off on the right foot and mention my (short) vaping history. My fiance and I both made the critical decision back on 7/5/13 to take the plunge and rid our lives of analog cigs. I was on analogs for 18yrs and 13yrs for her. It was the best decision we've ever made. We both started off with v2cigs and they did the trick to start things off. I realized I needed something more and started searching. I'm a member of a few other (non-related) forums so naturally I searched "ecig forums" and voila...ECF! I joined back on 8/11/13 and have been reading furiously ever since. I've learned soooo much in such a short period of time.

After my reading, or shall I say in between my reading, I've managed to stockpile an assortment of vaping gadgets and goodies! I'm a journeyman electrician so tinkering is second nature for me. I guess you can say it was inevitable for me to vape.

The mods I currently have are:

eGo
K100
Smok magneto
iTaste SVD

...and the tanks/cartos/atomizers...etc.:

Vivi Nova
Kanger T3
Kanger Protank 2
DCT carto
iClear 30
Smok RSST RBA
A7 RBA
iGo-W RBA

I have a good basic feel for the different types of vaping hardware and now I'm on the never-ending hunt for the perfect juice. I haven't done much research on this topic yet sooo...suggestions anyone???

Try as many samples as you can, get lot's a small bottles that sound good. There are a ton out there. What sort of things do you like? What have you tried? What did you like? What didn't you like?

I've started to figure out that I really lean more towards fruity liquids. Not a huge fan of dessert flavors. Also found out that i have a love/hate relationship with cinnamon liquids. Love 'em because they taste oh so good...hate'em because they make me not want to vape anything else, so I try to avoid them.

Ahlusions does great fruits (as well as dessert fruits). I wouldn't avoid all cinnamon, if you like them, vape them. It's not like there is vape police out there. If you found one you like, then go for it! Always keep it in rotation.

I tend to like menthols, so always keep plenty of that on hand, but still have others to go to when the menthol get's a little too much.

Yaeliq has some good fruits also (get some sampler packs from him before you go for the 100ml bottles)

yeah, vaping and insomnia seem to go hand in hand sometimes.... especially in the beginning.

When you are looking for juices to try, remember to buy the sample sizes until you know that its what you like! Sometimes sites have free samples of their juice.
