Finally got a black Bellus.

The afc on this black one is very stiff compared to my SS version. I don't mind though, it stays fully open all the time anyway.

I will probably file open the airflow a bit more on this one.

I just took the plunge and bought one! How is TC on this? Sturdy enough connection for a good reliable TC?

It's a great RTA, but the deck is small.

I played with the idea of TC coils, but after messing around with spaced titanium, went back to KA1.

This tank does not dry hit! Can't see any advantage that balances out the extra time and effort required for TC.

But that's my feeling for TC in general, I don't get dry hits, and the TC wires are a PITA to build with. I'm sure others will disagree. :)

I'm happily vaping dual, 28g KA1, 0.5ohms, 35w, flavour and clouds, no dry hits, ever!

Right behind you...
It's a great RTA, but the deck is small.

I generally run titanium contact coils, 8 wraps, but there's still ample room for spaced up to 10 wraps at the same ID (2.5mm or less).

As for me, dry hit prevention isn't the reason I like temp control. It's all about the consistency of the vape.

So I just got my Bellus, threw the pre-made coils just cause I couldn't wait to try it, wicked fluffed out cotton, resting on that "ridge" you have on the channels 1-2mm from the top, made sure the cotton was resting against the walls of the channels as well and it's wicking and vaping fantastically! Zero leaks, no leak when filling, nothing, not even sweating ^_^ happy camper

can't wait to get mine in....I chose this tank together with the Goblin mini to be my vapocalpyse tanks......main reason is that they seem very versatile, so I'll have plenty of options should my vape style change..the single coil option and that they share the glass type with the Goblin Mini are also a big plus for me..got 6 authentics on the way (2 black, 4 SS)......hurry up china!

I have no luck at all top filling, not too bad but I shall fill from the bottom from now on. If there's a trick to filling it from the top, pass it on .

There is no trick, just open the top fill it and then close it. If this causes it to leak then you need to adjust your wicking. Most people have found that the wicks need to close off the top of the juice channels, but only extend into them a very small amount. Maybe you need to increase the VG content of your juice?

My Bellus is running a single coil. 26 gauge Nife 52 singe core clapton with 34 gauge Kanthal wrapper.
Splendid.

I've set mine up with the single-coil also, though nothing fancy: just a standard wrap with 24ga kanthal at 2mm ID. It's running at about 0.6ohm, and I'm using 50/50 12mg juice from my stock in there, mouth-to-lung at 26W with the AFC wide open. Working pretty well this way! It's a much bigger producer than my Kanger ST Nano with the 0.5 ohm coil, but I can still handle the stronger nic stuff in this configuration. No chain vaping or late-evening sessions, though. :)

Mine just arrived.. After a rinse in hot water and then in IPA, I build a couple of 9 wrap 316L 2.5mm coils, got 0.53ohm. Cut at the deck edge, trimmed the top, stuffed into the recesses. Vaping great, full of flavour, at 30W I even needed to close off the airflow a bit to get the full flavour but not feeling any restriction with my draw. With that being said, I'm coming off a bored out Aqua v2 and a couple of STM's. Haven't tried top-fill yet. Will report in when I do.

Just built a new single coil with 24ga kanthal, perfectly spaced 8 wraps and 2mm ID at 0.53ohms. Thick cotton wick, a real tugger, with ends trimmed right to the groove at the top of the channels. Top filled with 70VG juice, and here's a trick: AFC closed for fill-up, then two 1-second pulses on the mod after screwing down the top, before opening the AFC halfway for the first puff, a sweet one with no gurgle. Then open wide for a killer ride at 25W. Zero leakage in sight. Loving this thing in single coil mode!

My second Bellus is still running dual Ti coils for TC, and I'm really enjoying that too. The sweet spot for me at 0.17ohms is 32W and 420F. Neither set-up runs really hot, and that's the way I like it. I'm new to this level of things, after all. But the flavor and vapor are crazy good. Like @FiReSTaRT, I half-close the AFC on the dual-coil to get a little thickness. Weeeee!

Boy, am I glad I started making e-juice for myself. I'd be freaking out otherwise, even with the budget vendors I used to prefer.

I also run single coil...at about 15w.....same experience in regard to the juice consumption as ian91...no more, no less than other tanks.
Performance is good, but like the Goblin Mini a tad more in regard to flavor
I really like the flavor from the Bellus although I have not tried a Goblin Mini. Have one on order since I have read so many good things about it.

I've done single coil builds on both theGoblin Mini and Bellus to help advise others. Both can be perfectly good tootle puffer tanks. I get a little better flavor from the Bellus though. And I definitely prefer filling on the Bellus. However, the new v2 of the Gob Mini solves that.
